I have to disagree with the bad reviews. I have lived in Brimfield for years and this place may need some serious redecorating but the food is good, the service is entertaining, and they have stayed consistant through out the years they have been in business. Just like any business, sometimes our first visit may have been a bad one; however we need to consider maybe it was a new employee still learning their job. Any time I have had a problem with my food, they have made it right. I always return to a place after one bad visit. In my eyes it is three strikes, your out! I have been going here for years. Their breakfast is home made and the portions are large. I agree that the steaks are not always the best, but I have had some good ones, it was explained to me that sometimes the cuts of meat that come in to them are not the best, if they could butcher their own they would :). This is a older place with the same owner from the day it opened, it is the oldest food establishment in Brimfield and it is one that I would hate to lose.

We were in from out of town and couldnt wait to try Brimfields. Listed as one the top steak houses in Brimfield. What a huge let down. The only way they could be number 1 was if they were the only one in town. If you want a cold beer do not come here....they do not serve beer. 6oz Filet, Top Sirloin and Roast Beef are the only "steak" offerings here. And if you want your steak cooked medium make sure you order it rare. My steak was ordered medium and came out as tough as shoe leather. And believe me I am not a picky eater but this was a steak that I could not stomach. Do not waste your money or time here.....Go to Mikes Place if you are looking for something good and well priced.

I normally do not leave reviews. However i have been here 3 times and will not come back. Service is horrible. We sat for 10 mins when the waitress came over to take drink order (ok this is not the issue) my husband says we are ready to order. The waitress stomps off to get our drinks and says fine i will take your order but there are 4 tables who will get their salads first. Thats fine but we want to order.

Great local eatery specializing in Fried Chicken, Fried Fish and Pizza. Today, I had what was arguably the best Fried Chicken & Jo Jo Potato Wedges that I have ever had. Portion sizes are large while prices are reasonable with most meals coming in just below $10 (as of late 2011). I will be returning to sample both the Fried Fish & Pizza that I have heard so much about.

Waitress was great!! Food ( went for breakfast) was slow coming out of kitchen. Took more than 40 plus minutes for food to get to the table. Waitress checked in with us and kept drinks filled. Food had no taste, very bland fried potatoes were hard, biscuit was HEAVY not light or fluffy. Service was good, cashier was friendly and polite. Need a different cook for sure

One of our favorite home cooking spots. The place isnt very fancy but the food is always great. Fried Chicken and fried fish is probably the best in the area. Portions are large and filling for the price. They have a big menu so everyone should be able to find something that makes them happy. They also have daily specials in addition to the large menu items.

locals say that brimfield family steakhouse has the best fish fry, so i had to try it out. i like ricos better, but bfs has some pretty good food. i liked the potato wedge fries.booth seats are very close, so be ready to watch other people eat if you want the comfort of a booth. nice view of golf course out the front windows and many locals come and go.

the worst experiance and food I was visiting from out of town and my family decided to go there, as we pulled up I was nothing but unimpressed. That set the tone for how the rest of the night went... To say the least I was sick the next day and half or so... not just from the uninviting place, the rude staff, but from the FOOD!!

You know theres an issue when the waitress makes a disgusting face when you ask about the steak. So I thought I would be safe with the chicken parm sandwich, but it wasnt until after I ate half the sandwich when we realized it was served on moldy bread. Then the waitress told us "I wont charge you for the salad." As if...

Visiting from out of town & always check reviews looking for local restaurants. Have to agree the decor is a bit dated & they have a limited menu. Our dinner was piping hot & completed as ordered, the staff was friendly & helpful. We enjoyed our visit & we come back this way again will stop in for dinner again.

This is a classic American "greasy-spoon." The food is never great, but its always good. The staff is friendly, and I never leave disappointed. Is the decor dated? Yes. Does the menu have limited options? Yes. Dont set unrealistic expectations for this "family" restaurant, and youll be satisfied.

Great breakfast (excellent grits) and very friendly, attentive server! Only one, one- person ladies room and in an awkward spot (enter and exit in busy hallway just outside of kitchen) and can use a few new replacement chairs/tables - only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

We always look forward to stopping by Brimfield Family Restaurant when visiting family! Can honestly say we drive 3 hours just to eat here. :-)...Breakfast is amazing! Staff is the best! Kristi always has a smile on her face and makes us laugh

Food was really good. Service was lacking. Our waitress was not attentive and didnt bring half the stuff we asked for. Couldve done without the waitress rolling silverware right next to us. Very noisy
