Disclosure: I .. am a foodie. I rarely go out to eat because between my grilling/smoking/meat skills, and my wifes everything else skills, we are hard pressed to find something that is worth the price or effort. But we still make it out for date nights, and wanted to give Grove Hill a shot. The decor and ambiance of the place is high class without the stuffy. Wait staff was exceptional. But the food.. where to begin. We split the venison tenderloin appetizer, which is served with a cherry-chipotle compote and whipped sweet potatoes. The tenderloin was cooked perfectly (just barely rare). Without the fat, you dont get much of the gamey flavor (something I enjoy), yet its a very mellow, delicious flavor. The compote was spot on for this dish, adding the sweet to round it out. The whipped sweet potatoes were simply amazing. Like, "I want to fill my hot tub with these" amazing. For the entree, I ordered a medium-rare Grove Hill burger. When it came to the type of cheese, they had the usual suspects, as well as bleu cheese. I have hated and avoided bleu cheese since I was a child, but I wanted to try something out of my wheelhouse and see if anything had changed. The burger arrived and again, cooked perfectly as Id requested. The bleu cheese gave this burger a dimension that I didnt know existed. It was simply sublime. In one meal, I had turned from anti-bleu to this is now a thing I have to do whenever available. The ground beef was seasoned perfectly with a beautifully toasted bun. Grove Hill completely nailed every aspect of this dining experience. Kudos to the kitchen staff for executing everything perfectly. Ditto to the head chef for creative menu options and superior ingredients. The effort that youve put in is noticed and very much appreciated.

This is not a family restaurant! We got into an argument with one of the servers because she walked up behind my two-year-old child and started yelling at her for standing on a chair. At no point was she actually standing on the chair but sitting on one of her legs. After realizing what she had done was wrong she apologized but at that point it was too late. Between the half decent food and the server yelling at my child it ruined my birthday dinner. We will obviously never be back...

Really great appetizers, especially for happy hour, $5 apps, wine and beer, $2 fries....EXCELLENT!! We came with two youngsters and we ordered enough to be very full while thoroughly enjoying the ambience and fabulous food, oysters on the half, mussels, risotto balls (Arancini), pork sliders and kids burgers which came with fries and fresh whole green beans! Our Server Kevin R. was excellent, although new, he did a great job! Plenty of parking, great, hidden little restaurant.

Shh dont tell anyone. There is a three star restaurant (Michelin) in Chagrin Falls. Everything you will be served will be absolutely delicious. The decor is restrained and elegant; the service magnificent. We had two kinds of soup, both delicious. The walleye was excellent. My salad was fantastic, and my wifes small plate mussels were the best Ive ever tasted. The prices are reasonable, and very cheap for the quality of food served.

Expensive for terrible service and bland food. Risotto appetizer and salads were decent, but entrees arent as advertised. Waiter was absolutely horrible and the live music is way too loud for the size of the place. Too many other great restaurants in chagrin falls to try
