New location, same exeptional baked goods that we were used to, yet some great new treats. If you happen to live in or pass-through Dayton, hands-down, it is worth the stop! I recommend their buttery flaky croissant treats like the turkey egg and cheese breakfast croissant, their unbelievably tasty croissant dough monkey bread, and of course the classic chocolate croissant. Their scones are quite a treat as well, and I recommend trying the ginger and the power scone. My favorite breads are the French loaf, and the light, hearty (not-so typically sweet) multi-grain loaf. I will admit, i never cared much for scones or croissants until i tried Boosalis Baking and Cafe! The owner Matt Boosalis really cares about quality baking, and just simply loves to bake and meet his customers. :D

My boyfriend and I stopped at Boosalis for lunch today on a whim, and were so glad we did! Their "box lunch" special is a great deal and very tasty. The cashier was extremely helpful and as sweet as can be. The owner, Matt, was there as well, and we really enjoyed chatting with him. You can tell right away that he is really passionate about baking and has spent a lot of time honing his craft. He was also incredibly generous with the samples, and everything we tried was good, particularly the croissants and the scones. I cant help but feel that Matt and his lovely bakery are a bit out of place in the food desert that is Dayton, but Im certainly glad theyre here!

A taste of Paris in a tiny, outstanding pastry shop. Great sandwiches and fresh salads. Exceptional customer service. The owners are friendly, well versed in their products which they generously sample for you. Boosalis Baking is the home of the Kouign Amann, an incredible carmelized croissant. One taste and youre hooked. The scones, hand mixed, are soft and perfectly sweet. Come in and be part of the family. Leave with the best Bakery pastries in the area.

The owner, Matt, could not be more hardworking and considerate of his customers. He is nearly always at his bakery and if something isnt perfect he fixes it immediately. I have seen one post questioning his character and I found it upsetting. I would like to put that question to rest. He truly cares about his customers and the quality of his business. Stop by his bakery and you will see. It is a hidden gem.

When you come here its like your home. The staff welcomes you in and is eager to help with your choices. Ive bought from the bakery case and Ive eaten lunch here. Nothing better than a sandwich made with bread right out of the oven- cant get any fresher than that! Bakery items are to die for! Seriously. My "go to" especially when entertaining out of town family.

Oh. My. Goodness!! Best bakery in Dayton!! Light, fluffy, buttery croissants and pastries. Ham and cheese croissant melts in your mouth. Bear Claws fresh from the oven...doesnt get much better! Great, friendly service and as others have stated they were more than willing to give us samples. I will definitely go back - theres so much to try!!

I occasionally stop in and pick up treats on my way to work. Everything they make is extraordinary. Hands down the best place to get authentic Kouign Amann in the region. Their cinnamon rolls and coffee cakes are also best Ive had (the chocolate-orange one especially. The owner loves to teach about the pastries and give recommendations.

I think this is hands down the best place to get a pastry in Dayton. The authenticity of the baguettes and croissants lets you know there is nothing but quality here. They have a friendly atmosphere with great service. If they served espresso coffee drinks, Id never go anywhere else in the mornings!

Occasionally I get a cranberry scone or muffin. Goes great with a coffee. I actually had a ginger-pear muffin, soo yummie, different! Staff is always very friendly. Ok, it may a bit more than Tim Hortons, but quality is so much better.
