I love the food, and Im glad other people seem to like it, but out of the handful times Ive been there, it seems like the employees (Im assuming owners as well) either must hate me or their life. On my last visit, the lady working behind the counter looked obviously impatient as if she didnt want my business. The questions I asked regarding the food were met with curt replies that had an almost condescending tone. I recommend this place for its food, but dont expect to be treated politely.

Had a great lunch today and was helped out by Will. He was a great help getting me pita on a busy order day (day before thanksgiving.) Excellent food and baked goods! I am glad I found a good middle eastern bakery close by. The only thing is that the hours are somewhat short. They are open until 430pm on weekdays and 3pm on Saturday. The photo is the lentils and rice I had for lunch. :)

I love this place. Great authentic middle eastern food. The owners are really nice, and helpful. Its a hidden gem in a out of the way corner of Akron. The pitas are very fresh, and soft. Baba Ganoush, hummus, grape leaves, and mujadara are so awesome. For the price you cant beat it.

One of my favorite lunch spots in Akron. One of the best hidden gems in Akron imo. One of those places if you go frequently enough you start to get a real feel for the people who runs this store and realize they are great and in turn it feels like a place worth supporting.

I love going to get fresh pita bread and other amazing food made there. Being away from my moms cooking, Sanabels is just like home for me! I live in Cleveland but it is worth the drive. The owner is always a pleasure, along with the other staff members!

You will experience delicious, fresh food and fast, warm service at Sanabels. This place is a hidden gem and people buy breads, wraps, lentils and rice to go or eat in the restaurant. My favorite is the falafel pita which is $5.95 and worth every bite.

Best middle eastern grub in the area! The dough they use is something to be experienced. The owner is typically working the cash register and is always sweet and welcoming. My favorite place to stop for lunch.
