When I entered the building I thought to myself "This is a nice little place" The staff was friendly and responsive at first. The sweet tea is delicious! The chips were warm and the salsa was very mild not spicy at all like most competing Mexican restaurants. I thought it was very good. Now for the bad part.. I ordered the Super Rancheros (5 enchiladas) It came with almost no lettuce, sour cream was very thinly squirted on and their was only one thinly sliced tomato on top. *It was extremely messy* The pork is very fatty and tastes the way canned cat food smells. The waitresses were very nice at first but I was shocked to see how drastically their attitudes changed when I told them that I didnt think the food tasted good and wanted to order the steak burrito instead. ((((By the way our waitress never even told us her name!)))) So Waitress #6 told me that they could only refund half of the plate because I had eaten some of the pork enchilada and opened the cheese enchilada (due to the lack of cheese inside) When asked at the counter if everything was enjoyable I stated that I had actually had an issue and she sent over the same waitress (#6) then they spoke in Spanish for a minute and our waitress continuously refused to refund the plate. I am astounded by these workers lack of respect and integrity. I believe that when a customer complains about a dish tasting so bad and then orders a different dish they should then have the original charge taken off of their bill and be charged for the second item. This was only such a terrible experience because of the attitudes of the workers and the fact that they were simply money hungry.

A little over a year ago I had a great experience here and gave a 5 star review. Today Im changing my review due to inconsistency. I frequent this restaurant, 10 or more times a year I come here and this may be my last due to inconsistency. I order the burrito Michoacan which has always come with six shrimp on the top, today on my first fathers day as a father I got 5 shrimp. May seem petty but in my mind consistency is what makes a good restaurant. I also got served a glass with a broken rim for my margaritas....like cmon how do you not notice that the glass you gave me is dangerously broken and could cut your patrons wide open? If the dishwasher didnt catch it the server should have or whomever dips the glass in the salt should have noticed. Service wasnt God awful but certainly not as good as I had in my first few experiences here. Ive noticed when they seat you in the back room rather than the main room in front you kind of get slept on. We closed our menus and set them in a pile waiting patiently for our orders to be taken. To top it all off, I was sent an email stating that for fathers day I could get money knocked off my bill, however I needed to print the coupon and I dont own a printer so I did not receive a discount for fathers day. Last time youll see me in there dropping fifty dollars.

The food was okay the staff was very rude! We ordered a half pitcher of Margaritas we did not know that the size that the lady had brought us was a pitcher ! They were nasty anyway! We got our bill and asked the server why it was so high she said that its because we got a whole pitcher We saud we asked for a half pitcher no knowing how there sizes ran! So she started getting very rude we then told the lady at the register about the problem she said THAT SHE DID NOT CARE AND WE STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THE WHOLE PITCHER! She then SAID VERY RUDE WHATEVER AND CHARGED US FOR A HALF PITCHER ! SHE ALSO SAID THAT IT EFFECTS THERE COST FOR THE CAUSE THEY HAVE TO THROW IT AWAY I SAID MAM YOU THROW FOOD AWAY EVERY DAY HERE BECAREFUL WHEN YOU GO THERE VERY RUDE AND DISHONEST MAKE SURE YOU MAKE IT CLEAR OF WHAT KIND YOU WANT!! ALSO THERE WAS KIDS RUNNING AROUND IN THE KITCHEN THATS VERY UNSANITARY TOO AND ALSO NOT IN THE CONDUCT !

So let me say 1st off I was BEYOND excited when I saw Aztecas up in the North. But they still live up to there reputation from the South. Our server told us today is his very 1st day and of course I had to say congratulations and high five him. But let me tell you how wonderful our server Arturo is. I told him I wanted fajitas but I get extremely scared because I am allergic to onions and it has progressed over the years and has become severe. He made a note to make sure no onion hit or touch my plate. Then when he was bringing out the condiments that came with it I told him I wanted the guacamole and he proceeded to tell me they have it with onions. He took into consideration my onion allergy is something serious and he made sure I was okay the whole way through. I greatly appreciate people like that. So thank you Arturo for caring. When you come in make sure you get him!!!

My family and I often eat here, we have had many occasions that we have had EXCELLENT service and other days that the serice was mediocre but today was just awful! We had a party of 7, we were there to celebrate a birthday and never received anything for it even after reminding our waitress that it is his birthday. When we received our food the mega burrito that one of the people we were with ordered a beef and received chicken, he refuses to eat chicken. When I received my steak I asked for A1 and the waitress told me that they didnt have any, mind you we have had this waitress on several occasions and she always says the same thing, so I went and asked another employee and he was able to get me a bottle of A1. Im very displeased with Azteca!!!

Ive been going to Azteca since before I was born and it is the best god-damn mexican food you will find around here, I can guarantee that. What kind of mexican food you like? Burritos? Got em. Tacos? Got em. You want some ice cream covered in crunchies and fried to golden perfection? Well guess what? THEY GOT IT. If you like to spend too much money and receive sub-par food, please dont come here. Get the burrito a la roqueta and get ready for a pork explosion in your mouth. PORK EXPLOSION!

This is a nice restaurant frequented usually by local employees (read: mostly Goodyear) and is great place to grab lunch real quick. Their service is incredibly fast, filling portions, very reasonably priced and of course bottomless free chips and salsa. They can handle small to big groups and have always found the staff friendly.Restaurant is pretty tasty but be reminded that this is American Mexican. So there is no short supply of cheese in your food. Not that I am complaining.

You wont be disappointed in the food. They do business lunches and groups (6 to 10) very well. Service always fast and helpful. This is one of my top 4 Mexican restaurants in Akron area, the only detractor is the age of the building and the environment. Again not back, nothing to stay away from, but their business is serving Mexican food to their customers and they do that well. Lunch is the majority of times I have been there.
