4 stars because its quite expensive, but the food quality is excellent. Our service has been very good, so no complaints there. Have been here 2 times. Tea choices were excellent, many things offered on the menu. Flat breads are great as well as sandwiches. The scone I had was incredible w/lemon curd and Devonshire type cream. Could not have been any better! Please keep this place in business, its the only tea room I know of in Winston-Salem.

My husband and I went to the Flour Box Tea Room for lunch and we were very pleased with our experience. The Tomato Bisque soup was out of this world and the Blackberry Raspberry tea was so good I brought a box home with me. We highly recommend this spot.

So so cute! Friendly staff and good menu. You do have to call ahead to reserve a tea meal (cream tea, afternoon tea, etc) which I definitely plan on doing next time. This time I had some kind of berry tea and it was wonderfully flavored!

The outdoor patio is nice in summer. They sometimes have free music. The inside is small but the menu and food are decent. What seems strange to me is that if you sit outside, you have to go inside to order. No one waits on you outside.

The food was great, but the wait was terrible. We were a party of two and waited over 30 minutes when there were empty tables. Staff was slow to check in on us and give us our check.

I love this place. I stayed at Salem College for 6 weeks and ate there once or twice a week. I NEVER had bad food, bad service, or a bad conversation. Thank you flour box!
