Me and my coworkers attempted to eat lunch at Mayberrys. There was a sign posted when we entered that said wait to be seat. As we were standing there one of the cashiers just yell out that we can sit wherever we wanted to. At that point we realized to do our take out order we should go to the counter. When one of the other women approached the counter a patron approached shortly after and the cashier took her receipt and card to check her out. When it was brought to her attention that we were there first she proceeded with her transaction with the other customer. When we did finally reach the counter by the other cashier to place our order she asked us to hold on while she checked the people out behind us so they could get back to work!!!!! Needless to say, we left and somewhere else. I attempted to call the manager of the restaurant around 2:30 (after his lunch rush) and he asked what the call was pertaining to. When I told him it was about an incident that happened earlier when I was there he told me that he was busy and I would have to call back later for that. Never again will they have to worry about me or my coworkers eating there!!!!!!

Placed an order on line. Waited for 40 mins. Tried calling line was busy forever. Then finally get through ask about order.Lady said the driver was leaving with it is now. 1 1/2 hours later and still no food. Really. Called back Mayberry women who answered ask did we still want order. I stated NO its been to long the food would be cold and the ice cream melted. Was never apologetic or anything. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN.

Ignored for the first 4 minutes while 3-4 servers milled around acting like they were busy while I was the only customer at the ice cream counter! Then one of the servers ( who was prompted by the floor manager to wait on me) asked "Is someone helping you?" I usually do not wait that long but I had my grandson with me and he wanted to see the flavors and I decided not to make a scene.

Dining at Carlos Bistro is always a great pleasure for us. Carlos and Marcia are wonderful hosts who make their guests feel welcome and special, and Jennifer is a brilliant server. The food is consistently delicious and the wine lists are elegant, yet affordable. Carlos Bistro is go-to restaurant that makes an everyday dining experience feel like a special occasion!

My family and I went there today for lunch for sandwiches and some ice cream. The food was great. Service was good and the restaurant was a good clean place to dine. The wait staff was a diverse mix of people of all ages and races which is good in todays world. I would highly recommend the place to anyone that wants a good meal while their in Winston-Salem.

Our server was nice ... Thats about it. They charge $1.49 for fries when you already pay $7-$8 a plate. Not to mention they dont tell u they have to charge u extra. Then u order your food and it takes almost an hour to get to u and u dont even get $1.49 worth of fries!!! Not happy about this place at all. Bad experience and I will never eat there again.

Best lasagna & canneloni my wife & I have ever tasted!!!! House garden salad with feta dressing was also delicious!!! Excellent service by wait staff! Will DEFINITY visit again when in Winston-Salem area! Six other people traveling in our group dined there later in the evening after we told them about it and ALL gave great reports of delicious food.

The employees were very rude very! They didnt greet us! And I dont know if it was because we were black but this one employee didnt even smile and said a smart comment to my step dad! I canceled my order and took my business somewhere else! They act like they havent seen black people a day in their life! Want ever go here again! Hate them!

Its ok if you like premade food. Nothing is home made. I had the chicken salad melt. I could have went to the grocery store and bought a container of chicken salad. It came with chips but I must have gotten the bottom of the bag because all I had is crumbs. Service was good which was the only plus I could find.

Terrible service. Took half an hour just to get our food, then they never brought my sisters food. After another 10 minutes they came back to tell us they messed up her order and were making it. On top of that the chips were not fresh and the hot turkey melt I ordered just didnt taste very good.

Great place to dine, but had a experience today, a co_ worker and myself had take out lunch there, she and I order a cheese burger and fries, the burger itself would have been good if only the meat Pattie was real meat. The meat had a rubbery texture, wasnt food at all.

Our family of 7 (including grandparents) recently went for afternoon treat of sundaes, milkshakes, banana splits, and sodas. Everything was great and the service was friendly. (We did not have anything besides the desserts.) We had a great time.

I love Mayberry. Mostly for the nostalgia factor. I remember going here in the afternoons after swim practice some summers to get a milkshake and a BLT. 15 years later, the BLTs and the milkshakes still taste just the same. Love it!

A good family restaurant. Great hot fudge sundaes! A believe it or not, a great place for breakfast. Two egg special is a great deal, and very good! Also, recently renovated, which makes it very comfortable and attractive.

I waited for an 2 hours for a grilled cheese sandwich and I asked for it like 4 times I asked for ice tea and they gave it to me like an hour later after I asked for it 3 times and they finally gave it to me at the end!!!

On the sanitation grade they have a 90.2 but Ive never had a problem with their breakfast. The only issue I see is they do not wear gloves or forced to wear them when fixing ice cream and grabbing Wafers to put in them.

I would give this place a zero if I could...I went on my lunch break and ordered a salad, waited 30 minutes for a salad, the waitress was very rude and unprofessional. I will not recommend my worst enemy to eat there.

We went for breakfast. They were not busy. The hash-browns were cold, the over-easy eggs were over-hard, bread was barely toasted and we had to pay extra to have chocolate sauce in my sons milk. Very disappointed.

Been coming here for years, whenever Im in town. The bean soup is famous- sandwiches are always good, and the ice cream an extra treat. These all started as part of a local dairy. You cant go wrong with local !
