As compared to the East Coast Wings on Country Club Rd., BWWs wings are almost (but not quite) as good, but the atmosphere and staff are literally dozens of times better. I started coming here in desperation after ECW basically turned itself into a high-volume sports bar in everything but their name. I wasnt expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The building itself is spacious, large, and has high ceilings, many high-backed padded booths, and the bar is well-separated from the dining area. This means that even during Wake Forest or Panthers games the volume is entirely tolerable, and during off-hours you can pick yourself a seat at will. The wing diners can converse among themselves without shouting (and maybe play a quiet game of bar trivia), and the sports fans can have fun and enjoy their game. Best of both worlds and everybodys happy. This alone is worth the price, if you ask me, since its precisely in this area that the nearest competitor (ECW on Country Club) is so utterly, irredeemably terrible. As a response to the 1-star review below me: I have never had a problem with being served more than one beer in an hour at BWW, though perhaps the fact that Im clearly not there solely to drink has something to do with their willingness to bend the rules? Part of the problem is that NC state law bans 100% alcohol sales bars, requiring all establishments with a liquor license to do 60% of their income in food. Because of this, people simply looking to get hammered and noisy tend to "invade" legitimate restaurant bars on Friday and Saturday nights and drive off the dine-in clientele that they rely on to make the 60% of their sales that lets them keep their license. It only takes one table full of obnoxious, noisy drinkers to drive off a whole seating area full of eaters, so theyre probably extra-sensitive to the very real possibility of the place getting forcibly converted into a party bar (and eventually shut down as a result). Frankly, their policy (if it exists) seems to be working great, as I have been in here during many busy sports games yet have never seen an obnoxiously noisy drunk pounding the table until the glasses jump, hollering at the TV screen or spilling beer on peoples shoes, which is more than I can say for their nearest competitor. Bottom Line: If youre looking for a place to get noisily drunk and shout at the Wake Forest game on the TV, do it at home or up the street, because you wont be welcome here. If you want good wings, good service and a great sports-and-trivia environment that (almost) anybody can be happy at, try this BWW out.

I eat here often but especially on fight night. Neither the food or service is ever that great but its not bad. I only support the business because they show the UFC PPVs. Anyway, Ive come to this particular BWWs for the past FOUR YEARS bringing groups sometimes as big as 10 people and always with no problem. While I sat and waited for a table in the bar area to come available, the three couples that were there before me, took the next available vacant tables. No big deal. When it became my turn, all of a sudden the bar area is no longer first come, first serve. According to some very rude waitress (She was dressed different she might have been a manager) its been that way "forever". Forever, as in not 10 minutes ago when the last 3 tables became available and were taken. A simple sign that says "Bar area is now seated by hostess" would be something even a poorly managed place would have thought of to avoid conflict and confusion but my guess is that policy was made up on the fly. I told the lady it had never been that way to which she argued that it had "always been". I told her I wouldnt be back (mainly because of her attitude)... of course she didnt care. I work in customer service so Im very understanding. A statement like "It has been our policy for quite a while but weve done a very poor job of implementing it, Im so sorry" would have been more than enough to salvage the situation. It felt personal, she was very quick to argue... I cant imagine she does a good job day to day.

Met up with a group of friends for a game here yesterday and was terribly disappointed in the whole experience. First off, they have a strict policy of 1 oz of alcohol per person per HOUR. So we had to space our drinks out over a game. So if you plan to have more than one drink per half of football game, go somewhere else. This is just one of the many things that mgmt could not do for us. Every time we turned around mgmt was at our table explaining one of their infinite policies to us. (1. a 10 minute explanation why they couldnt change the channel on a TV that only our table was watching. 2. An amateur lawyers explanation of drinking laws and how we could only have on e beer per hour, ITs Not ME, its the LAW." Audio was terrible, choice of games is inflexible and a little weird. (55-7 blowout between two unranked teams gets the audio and the big screens) I was embarrassed for two reasons: #1 I chose this venue for the get-together. #2 They were cutting off people left and right in a very power-trippy kind of way.

Me and my Man went to dine in for the first time, when we arrived the young crowd at the door was the first sign. Got seated close to the bar that was fine. The waiter was horrible, then there was soooo many young people there just sitting around just hanging out. My husband was very pissed and upset to look over my shoulder to see two tables of teenagers playing cards. They did not order any food just holding up two tables. BWW can never get another quarter of mine, to me it was a teenager hang out and the manager needs some more training or something. Think well stick with hooters

Ive never been a fan of BWWs mainly due to the atmosphere and the price. That being said, I didnt come here by choice but for a family gathering. Long story short, I ordered a salad and most of the lettuce was wilted. I sent it back and the new salad wasnt any better. Also, the blue cheese dressing tasted like mayonnaise with a splash of vinegar. The price associated with the microscopic portions is borderline criminal. Bottom line, Buffalo Wild Wings is a fad, pure and simple.

Love BWW. My husband and I get the jalapeno bites (great) and plain wings. The Southwest sauce is very good on the bites, wings and the potatoes. Just an all around good sauce. The servers and manager are very nice and eager to make sure our dining experience is excellent. The BuzzTime Trivia game is fun and there are sport TVs a plenty. Weve made it a regular weekly lunch date. Highly recommend.

LOVE THE WINGS HERE!! Been a faithul customer since college.. The mango habanero hits the spot every time as well as the honey BBQ!! Garlic parm is full of flavor.. Gave it 4 stars only because the wings are only perfect if there isnt a back order of wings.. If u go during sporting event they arent braised to perfection. I also only eat the wings and rarely ordered other things..
