Pros: The food was cooked fresh and they were willing to accommodate substitutions. For example, I wanted only zucchini for my veggies, no onions. The portion size was also appropriate. They arent stingy with their sauce and have a little "sauce bar" where you can get your own if you eat in. Cons: The lady working the counter isnt exactly welcoming, not like my patronage was appreciated. Ive had white sauce/yummy sauce before and its normally a light pink/peachy color from the ketchup and spices they add to the mayo. Their white sauce was just that, white, nearly all mayo which took my breath when I popped the lid off. I got hibachi shrimp with rich and veggies. The food was cooked fresh while I waited for a short 5-8 mins, but it was pretty darn bland. Even the ginger sauce was quite bland, but covering the food in it did give it a little flavor. Overall, it wasnt gross, but I was disappointed I wasted calories on it.

Do not expect to be treated like you are at a fancy restaurant or at the Ritz Carlton ... ... However, this NO FRILLS Hibachi place serves up some DELICIOUS Hibachi food. I HIGHLY recommend the Hibachi Chicken, Shrimp, and Steak (has never let me down), also throw in some Ginger sauce for some extra FLAVA and a side of DANK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Their Sweet Tea is sometimes good. The restaurant gets pretty busy around lunch time. Its a really good place for take-out. Call them, give them 10 minutes and BOOM! Delicious food. If you are HUNGRY and this place is nearby I recommend it! I think the food is a good price and good value for what you get (and in my personal opinion [which might be ignorant] eating here is probably healthier than going to other fast food options). I had eaten here before and waited about 28 minutes for my food after ordering which I thought was incredibly long. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I thought to myself that maybe they were just short staffed or something. Today, I went back in and the wait time at this place was ridiculous! I waited 42 minutes for my plate and upon receiving my plate I was very disappointed. I know the food is considered cheap but I paid almost $10 for a plate that looked like it should have been $3 considering that amount of food on the plate. The $3 worth of food that I received was not great at all. The chicken was overcooked and it looked like the got the bottom of the barrel of the steak. Nothing was hot so now Im wondering what the wait was for. Im incredibly disappointed with this establishment.

I was hesitant to eat here, but was pleasantly surprised. The exterior isnt much to look at being located in a shopping strip on Wake Forest Rd in Raleigh. The interior, however was nicely appointed and clean. The food was good - about typical for a fast-food type Hibachi joint. They seemed to be efficient and helpful. I just wish I could find nutritional information on their entrees. I ordered the Chicken and Ribeye Steak Hibachi with extra vegetables in lieu of rice. The plate was full, and they had chile sauce, ginger sauce, mustard sauce, white sauce, and terriyaki sauce conveniently available. They also had both regular and lite soy sauce. I would definitely eat here again.

it was below one star. The white young female who wait on us. Would walk behind me fast. And tried to step on my foot. And she would stand behind me and yell in the ear. And she brought me water half a cup full. I had to ask her for a full cup. She refused to give me my receipt. And would not volunteer to come back to table. at the table. She was only nice to people who spent a lot of money. She got angry at me not a tip. She was rude to other females at the table. And got angry at other female customers at the table.

It wasnt so bad that I didnt eat it, I was pretty hungry. However, the servings were smaller than other Hibachi places I have eaten at and the food was pretty blah with little flavor. The shrimp sauce was so watered down it had almost no flavor. My daughters Chicken & Shrimp Hibachi plate literally had 8 small pieces of chicken on it and 5 very small shrimp. We were both pretty disappointed and will not be returning. Not recommended.

The food is good but today for some strange reason my hibachi chicken and shrimp wasnt made to order..supposedly it was just cooked 5 minutes ago..lady said they do that sometimes bc it can get busy..however from the time I was in there no one came in and she couldve made my food fresh with me seeing it cooked..I didnt like that at all..probably wont go back for a while.

I love this place.... Ever since a girlfriend of mine told me about this place, more than a year ago, Ive been going.. Used to eat here at least twice a week. Ive moved out of nc and each time I come in town I have to, have to eat here! I also continue to bring other people here to taste how much better there food is compared to other so called "hibachi" places.

I prefer this over the other Japanese chains by a long shot. I actually like the sushi too, by the way. Their stuff is so much better than the competition, and the restaurant itself is really nice. I especially prefer their rice over the other area restaurants. White sauce is amazing too. I just wish I could have their food delivered!

I live in the apartment complex behind this shopping center, and I was excited for a hibachi restaurant to be opening within walking distance. This place has been consistently dissapointing, the food isnt awful, but its not good either. The prices dont match the quality of the food.

I had ate here once before, it was actually really good and tasteful. But today my manner went and pick up our lunch. He had got back to the job and said I didnt check your food so I checked it and my spring rolls were burnt. Smh I dont recommend anyone to this Hibachi spot

I am always pleased with my meals here. The service is fast and my orders are always accurate. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and you get enough for two meals. I just ish they had Come products instead of Pepsi.

Food was fairly good; chicken a bit overcooked and a little tough. Biggest gripe is that the amount of food for $7 was very inadequate. Not very much in the container at all……very disappointing . Not a good value for the money.

This place is quick and the food is VERY GOOD for a very cheap price. If I had to choose btw Kanki hibachi and hibachi Japan I would choose the later. The price point is a third of other restaurants and tastes just as good!

This is your standard hibachi fast food place. The food is good and comes out quick. The decor at this location is especially nice/modern. The bathrooms are very clean and the staff are friendly.

Food is great...and overall tasteful!!! Everytime I go I am always satisfied!!! The staff are very fast and efficient and I everyone I have told about this place have enjoyed the food as well!!
