This restaurant needs management, not long ago in the drive up window area I saw a young man grab at a young girls pants, both workers in the restaurant, then recently we tried to purchase LG potato salad and Cole slaw for a family get together and was told they were too busy to get that together ; really? Its on the drive thru menu...plus one breakfast my rye toast was only one slice cut in 1/2 as my toast serving since "rye costs more than white" the waitress said, Carter brothers, cheap like a flock of birds

Came here today with my son, we got there around 10:30 I went to order the breakfast and I was informed that they were no longer serving breakfast and on the menu its stated they quit serving breakfast at 11. So then I order my son food and me food I ordered the chicken pie it was the worst thing I have ever tasted. I also have 3 different waitresses serving my table so I didnt even know who was my real waitres. I will not be going back to this place ever again.

I cannot say enough about this restaurant they have the best food I have ever put in my mouth, their eggs and their grits are the best Ive ever had I would buy a whole pot of grits and eat them theyre that good Im willing to drive from Winston-Salem to High Point to eat breakfast there ice about 8:30 Mi round trip and its well worth the trip best breakfast ever

Food is good/not great. Service is excellent, servers have a great attitude. The restaurant just needs a good cleaning. Windowsills and blinds, bathrooms, bathroom floors . Front kitchen people use the same rag for everything. Cake pans, counter tops etc. Never even rinsed it out. Took payment and never washed hands before handling food again and again.

The food quality is very poor. The restaurant is dirty, and the wait staff is terrible. Dont ever go through the drive-through. I dont recommend this BBQ. Go to BBQ Joes. I should have made the journey to the south side of town. Carter Brothers should also stop hiding behind Christianity.

Why would anyone put pickles in a salad? Youd have to ask them! The grits have bug parts in it (passes health inspection, but not mine) The barbecue is terrible (go to Prissy Pollys for the good stuff) Everything I eat there is a regrettable mistake. I choose not to go there anymore.

The food is very average and service OK However, I cannot stand when people USE God to sell. The owner is not a Christian (although claims to be) especially when they have police at their homes all the time. The WORST part is using a religion to sell your products.

Carter Brothers is good but not great. Food is only okay. Dont have to wait to be seated usually and the wait staff does a good job. They have a huge menu but, like I said, food quality is only okay. They do have really good cake.

Great place. Has an awesome atmosphere and is a giant family. Great food with suggestions made by certain staff members. Ive been coming here for over 8 years and i dont plan on stopping anytime soon.

Nothing like Texas BBQ but it wasnt bad. I would eat here again. I had a pulled beef sandwich and it was good not too vinegary. Husband had the banana pudding for dessert and it was tasty.

Proper family run BBQ joint, but nothing special foodwise. No woodsmoker, cooked on gas these days. Fairly extensive menu. Banana pudding very sloppy.
