Always seem to be out of everything. Price 4/5. You aint eating for free and definitely dont expect no handouts. They mess something in your order up youd better give it back so they can physically throw it away in the trash can, cause they wont let you keep it. Service 3/5. They never have anything! You want rye bread for your grilled cheese or a bread bowl for your soup - theyre out. You want that chocolate filled croissant with your coffee, too bad. Aint no one made none the night before. You order a simple coffee in the afternoon, and no ones refreshed the pot since 7am, YESTERDAY. Cleanliness 3/5. Crusty ol tables, clearly stolen from medievil times could afford a good wipe down. Wu-Tang and Limp Bizkit gang signs scrawled in them. Quality 3/5. Typical college hangout for snooty college students bringing their Sony or Mac laptops and sitting in large groups pretending to study. But really only talking loudly about Sense 8, Stranger Things, and other trending Netflix programs. Occassional older male, sitting alone in the corner - pretending to be writing a book when hes really just checking out the college women wearing running spandex or yoga pants. Definitely aint sticking around next time, and will get the food to go. And by the way? As much as Panera uses that microwave to heat things up in the back (souflee or soup for example?) They needed to be paying that thing.

Im a regular customer here because my husband frequented and liked the Panera in Kernersville for years. Usually Panera is pretty good. But this one is pretty poorly run. The bagel quality runs high to low. Sometimes they are a decent size, other times they are really puny. They run out of everything and dont get it restocked for weeks - tea, and especially stirrers...at a place that sells coffee! I constantly bring the creamer containers up because they are empty and they constantly run out of several types of coffee and they have to go brew you a cup. Today they were out of muffins. Totally out of every kind. The place could use a good wipe down and no one wipes down tables. You do it yourself to have a clean place to eat. The kitchen staff is great and super nice but the two women generally working the cashiers...well. One is generally on her phone and dislikes to help and the other is rather slow. If the manager Mike is around he is sitting having coffee and chatting with his friends. But I hear he has been promoted. I hope the new manager gets this place in shape because it needs it!

Past two week I have visited this Panera bread on 3 different occasions. All in the morning all for the same items. Bagel (cut and toasted) and cream cheese. On each of these occasions it has taken a substantial amount of time to prepare what should have taken a couple of minutes. It wasnt lunch hour or very packed yet my bagel took forever. The other two occasions, the bagel werent so fresh but meh I went with it. TODAY however, took the cake. My bagel was not only stale, but they put the wrong kind in my bag and it was burnt on both sides. I was too far to turn back around and im mad at myself for not checking in the restaurant. However, this type of service is unacceptable (how do you burn a bagel that goes through an automatic toaster!!! 3 strikes this location is OUT! Not to mention this location has a mildew like smell, but its convenient for my commute so I tried to live with it. Southpoint and Cary (parkwest) location are much better!

I went to the Panera Bread on Ninth st in Durham NC and it was the worse experience that I have ever had at a restaurant. My order was incorrect and when I told the " hostess " she said thats what they packed. I explained to her this was not what I ordered. I asked to speak to a manager and he was not even about to correct my order. A cook then came from the back of the cooking area and placed some more bread in my bags. He didnt have no gloves and the bread was not wrapped. I have never ate at the one in Durham NC and I will never again. If I could give 0 stars I would. If your not good in customer service then you should not work in it. I work in corporate work and believe me none of my co workers will eat there ever again. Very dissatisfied

Panera Bread on 9th Street has decent food. However, we recently submitted a catering order that was never fulfilled. Upon calling to see why the delivery driver was 15 mins late, I learned that Panera had forgotten about the order would not be able to follow through. This is the 4th similar experience for various departments within our company. Panera might be okay for dining in, but do not rely on their catering unless having food at your event is optional.

Panera is always great for a warm bowl of soup or tasty salad even if the prices are a bit higher than I would like to pay. I like that this location has self-service kiosk. They were easy to use and allowed me to skip the line you sometimes find at Panera. Food is ready by the time you sit down making it a pretty good place for a quick meal. My only complaint would be that last time I was in there it was about 50 degrees inside. A little too chilly for my comfort.

Terrible service and management. They took my order, took my money, fulfilled the orders of 10 more customers, then 15 minutes later told me they couldnt fill my order because theyd sold out of bagels (at a bagel shop). The manager delivered this message with no offer to do anything to make it right, not even refund my money. I had to ask for my money back after a solid 30 seconds of uncomfortable eye contact.

The staff is always nice and the service is speedy! Only problem Ive ever had is with delivery; I ordered 36 bagels about 24 hours in advance of when they were to be delivered and they ended up not having most of the kinds i had ordered and delivered mostly plain, which is not what I ordered.

Im not sure if its just this location, but the past couple of times Ive been here Ive really felt like the value has gone down at panera - the prices are higher and the portions are smaller. The food is pretty good quality but the pricing for what you get does not seem competitive.

The food is good, but the Rapid Pickup is slow compared to other Panera Breads. Unlike Rapid Pickup at the other Paneras Ive been to, I always have to wait for my order to be ready 10+ minutes after ordering. Also, theres no parking designated for Rapid Pickup.

Incredibly friendly staff, fast service, hot coffee (even though it was 5pm). I had hoped to make some work phone calls in the dining area while I ate/drank my coffee, but the music was a little too loud. Other than that, a great experience.

Ordered two meals, bakery items and drinks using the kiosk. They gave us the wrong bakery item, forgot one of our sides and put sauce on a sandwich when we selected "on the side" for that sauce.

Standard Panera. A few times Ive ordered from them for delivery or pickup and they either gave me the wrong items or missing components from the item I ordered, so Ive docked them 1 star.
