First I must say the wait staff was always helpful and friendly. If you go and order from their menu with no modifications then you will most likely be happy. However based on three separate occasions I ate there, I specifically asked for one of their signature pizzas to be made a certain way. One of those times I was the only patron in the restaurant so I cant say that it was because they were too busy and made a mistake. Each of these times my pizza was made incorrectly. The only modification I asked for was to have their "secret" sauce replaced with red sauce. Pretty simple request I thought. All three times they somehow forgot to put the sauce on and then just threw it on top. The last time I went the cook even left off the goat cheese it was supposed to have. I tried to eat it and let it go but, it tasted so bland which I will say is very unusual for them as the pizzas they have made for me correctly were delicious. The waitress did take the pizza off my bill and also offered to have it remade which I refused. I wont be going back which is unfortunate since overall I generally liked the place. The cook could potentially ruin your meal whether that is through incompetence or his unwillingness to modify his masterpiece recipes Ill never know.

We ordered a large farm salad ($10.95) with the greek dressing. I dont like the taste of olives and the dressing tasted a lot like fancy olives. Other than that the salad was amazing. (yummy goat cheese crumbles) We also ordered the Margherita Pizza. This was probably the worst Ive ever had. The pizza was over cooked, there was not much basil, the sauce tasted slightly overcooked, and the were only a few small very thin slices of fresh mozzarella on the pie. The crust seemed as if it would be good if it had not been so very brown. The pizza was $18.95 and that price is too high for their version of this popular pizza. The order taker was very nice and attentive. I gave a nice tip, though I dont understand why a tip was necessary since it is a place where you order at the counter and clean up your table when finished. The only type of waiter/waitressing they do is bring the pizza to the table. The bathrooms were very much in need of cleaning and fixing.

On my one and only visit, service was almost nonexistent. The pizza was nothing more than a doughy crust with almost nothing on it. Freezer pizza is better and cheaper.I ordered a salad and was charged an extra dollar for ranch dressing. Are you kidding me? In all my life, I have never been charged extra for salad dressing! It wasnt even good at that. The waitress was so busy talking to the only other customer that we had to ask 3 times for drinks. Restaurants have 2 things to offer---- food and service. If they fail on either one, they lose business. There are simply too many other places to eat in Charlotte. This place failed miserably on both accounts. Besides this, the price was well above what it should have been for what we got. Well go back to Dominos. At least we know it will be good, fast, and reasonably priced. Will not waste another trip here.

Pizza was definitely delicious. When I walked in on a Saturday evening, it felt homey and nice (it used to be a house after all.) However, after standing up front for more than a few minutes, I was ignored by a waitress who busied herself with a check instead of greeting me. Then a second waitress who looked more interested in dropping some plates off at the kitchen than talking to me, gave me an odd look and asked if I needed something. I said I had an order for pickup and she said to go to the back bar. While I found the pizza delicious and the decorating cute, I felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome there. I would gladly eat their pizza again, but dont have any interest in going back to their establishment. Either a host, friendlier staff, or a simple sign would have completely changed this experience.

LIVING SOCIAL DEAL ALERT!! The management here was terrible today at dealing with their living social deal. I bought a deal online at living social. I went LAST night to try to redeem it thinking 8 pm would be acceptable to use a DINNER Certificate! Well, they were closed. They close at 7. SO, we try again today because although Im not often downtown, I happened to be in the AREA again today. WELL... they can only honor that deal after 4pm!!! When I asked to speak with a manager, not only would he NOT HONOR it, he wouldnt even walk over to speak with me about it! THIS PLACE... NOT GOOD at all on customer SERVICE. THEY will never see a penny of my money, and I thought you all should know.

I agree with the posting on here about treatment of customers using coupons. The purpose of offering a coupon is to attract new customers and then wow them with your product AND service. The guys here always seem to have an attitude of detached coolness with their customers, almost as if they are too hip to be bothered. If you dislike honoring coupons, it is simple...DONT OFFER THEM! The product here is excellent; however, I have had similar treatment while trying to use the LS coupon. It is okay though, because I now never go without some sort of coupon or discount. So, the discount makes up for the poor service in my mind. Just my two cents...

10 Stars!! Would definitely recommend. From the minute you walk in you can smell the fresh crust baking. We ordered the pesto knots and they were fabulous. It tasted like the pesto was made in house for sure. For our pizzas we ordered the deli pie and the country pizza. The deli pie was bursting with flavor that worked together. The country pizza was my favorite of the 2. Despite only having 2 toppings "country ham and carmelized garlic" the flavors were fabulous. We will definitely be returning and looking forward to trying additional craft pizzas prior to declaring the country one my absolute favorite!!!

Left a real bad taste in my mouth. Warning my pizza loving friends. This restaurant needs a lesson in good business. I ordered here tonight and they really screwed up and refused to make things right. I ordered a large lasagna pizza half with beef, half with sausage. What they gave us was a small with all beef and offered to charge us for another small pizza if we wanted more. No offer of refund or remake. Beware. They will screw up your order and then refuse to fix the situation. Will not be coming back and will be letting everybody know. Thanks for ruining my familys dinner.

Saw this place had gluten free pizza so decided to try it. I am so happy I did! They didnt have just the usual cheese pizza with some toppings available, I was able to have a chicken buffalo pizza and it was delicious. They also had gluten free breads sticks, sandwiches and desert options (didnt try). I got a pizza to go as well. There are many options and its not your typical limited gluten free menu. Best part is the gluten free crust actually has flavor.
