First, let me just make it clear that Im a real stickler on customer service. This place never ceases to amaze me! I placed an order for delivery and I asked for Parmesan, crushed red peppers, and marinara sauce to come with it. The delivery driver showed up with only blue cheese dressing, which I had also asked for. I asked him about the other condiments and he offered to pick them up and return to deliver them but I told him not to worry about it because I was hungry. I then went inside and called the restaurant just to bring to their attention that they failed at customer service this time. They offered to bring the condiments out again but I declined the offer. I was simply too hungry to wait but I wanted to bring it to someones attention. I immediately thought of going online to do a bad review, but I thought "No, Ill give them a second chance. They usually provide great customer service but they were just really busy and slipped this time." Less than ten minutes later, and after my pizza was eaten, I heard a knock on my door. It was a different delivery guy there to bring me the condiments they left out. I was absolutely amazed!!! I could do nothing but smile and say "thank you". He apologized and went about his way. Even though I couldnt enjoy my pizza with the requested condiments like my taste buds wanted, they still came through like normal. I literally wanted to cry! (Thats how serious I am about customer service!) I immediately came online to write this review and I definitely recommend Fuel Pizza to anyone, anytime! The pizza is the best in town and the service is outstanding! I actually want to work there and be a part if their team just for that alone, and I dont know anything about making a pizza. Thats Fuel! You came through once again and Im definitely a proud and loyal customer, forever! :)

Ive been going here for years. Fuel always has the best pizza and wings, and its great for late night eats on weekends. But the reason Im leaving a review now is because of the service I experience here...especially last night. The staff is always upbeat and happy, all having fun with each other and making the most of having to be at work serving all the party-goers instead of partying themselves. Last night, the line was about 8 deep at about 2:30 AM and two people very blatantly stepped in front of us. The cashier noticed and he asked them if they skipped and they denied it. Then he looked at me and asked if they skipped and I said yes. The skipper just looked me up and down and said "whatever" and continued to try to order. The cashier then said "You just skipped like 8 people. Im not serving you. You can get to the back of the line." Even though they were slammed and needed to work quickly they still made time to stick up for their customers. They obviously care about their job, establishment, and guests. Ive never seen an employee act so quickly and fiercely to a pesky line cutter. Needless to say, we tipped them generously...which we were going to regardless. TIP THESE PEOPLE. They work extremely hard for us and do it with a genuine smile while were out partying!! Fuel on central will continue to get my business as well as my friends and familys business when we go out. Keep it up!!!!!!

Great Crust and Sauce! I can remember my first experience with Fuel. Someone brought pizza to a rehearsal that was beyond incredible. Flavorful crust that wasnt too chewy, smartly seasoned sauce, and fresh toppings. I had to figure out where it was from...and Ive been stopping in for a slice (and those addictive garlic knots!) when Im around ever since. On my most recent visit to the Central Ave Fuel, the staff was incredibly kind and quick, especially considering it was the tail end of the dinner rush. Turns out I was mistakenly overcharged - I didnt notice. But the girl at the register found me at our table, asked if Id like a refund or the extra piece I paid for, and threw in a cookie for the confusion! Honesty and great service!

Pizza and wings were great I cant lie the only downside that was very disgusting was they gave our pizza to the wrong table and when the people complain that it was not their pizza. ....they came and gt the pizza then brought it to our table after that table had breath all over the pizza.....we all know thats nasty.... so when I complained about the guy say "so u dnt want it" looking at me crazy..... he took the pizza off the table no apology and walk to the back

Pizza tastes ok for NY-style pizza in the south, but the place is disgustingly filthy inside & out, it reeks with a foul odor, the slices are small & overpriced (~$3.50 for a tiny slice with pepperoni), AND theyll serve it cold if dont demand they heat it up. Customer service is terrible too. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 b/c of longevity - 10 yrs ago, Fuels was probably the only franchise-like business that sold NY style pizza). They used to be better.

Terrible experience and pizza. They shorted me on half my wing order and gave me stale pizza. I called my order in at 6:15pm and told them Id like to pick it up at 7:15pm as I knew itd be a busy night for them. The pizza was cold and wings dry - clearly they made the pizza when I ordered it and did not wait. About $42 for a large pizza and 18 wings (which they gave me 9), awful prices. Ripped me off + bad food + bad prices = fuel pizza

Not happy at all with the service here. 1st they gave me the wrong slices, delivered by a woman with a sour look and like she hated her life, then when they brought me the right slices, the same womans hair was ALL over one of the pieces. When I asked for ranch the first time I got rolled eyes, and when I dropped the hairy pizza at the counter she looked at me like I was dumb. I will never eat here again!

Ive ordered from Fuel Pizza more times than I can count, but lately its just been barely above average. This time in particular my lettuce wasnt crisp at all, as it if had been sitting out for God knows how long. And the delivery guy was SUPER rude, I regret tipping the guy $5. Overall, Im usually very pleased, but the last year or so its just been mediocre. Get it together Fuel Pizza.

Perfect pizza just the way I like it. Not too heavy, thin perfect crunch crust all the way from Charlotte, NC . Not tight on the toppings either. My two year nephew loved it too. Bad ass smorgasbord Coke machine. Diet Dr Pepper Cherry Vanilla is the cherry on top. Glad this place is far from my house because Id definitely gain weight if it was.

I have always loved Fuel Pizza. And Im not saying I moved within a mile of it BECAUSE its so wonderful, but thats certainly a bonus of my neighborhood. The teriyaki wings and Hawaiian pizza are staples of my diet, to be sure. (Try adding a little cilantro to the Hawaiian; youre welcome.) An absolute must for any Charlottean.

Terrible. I ordered this pizza today 03/25/2017 and it was very expensive. 2 large pizza ... Cheese and Pepperoni and a garlic knot (6) total $39.00 I asked for lite sauve- The pizzas were full of sauce . Less cheese and zero taste. It even smells weird . A real waste of my money! ZERO TASTE! DISAPPOINTED
