I grew up in bronx ny, so i know the authentic nyc style taste and this is DEFINITELY not it. No taste to the sauce. If you get entree the pasta and meat are almost dry since they seem to want to save money on sauce. It is sad because entrees would be edible if they loaded it with sauce like nyc places do. If you want a great authentic italian experience just like new york offers, then Bucca de Peppa at carolina place mall area is the best of the best. Brooklyn Pizza started off with a good idea, but i have not seen italian people working or cooking there since its early years, which may explain the problems with taste and experience in preparing the food. Disappointing dining experience unless you have low expectations and no nyc dining experiences to compare.

Went with 3 families, 12 people. 2 went in line and the others sat. Was first told we had to have people in line ordering, Told the manager we had 2 people in line and was then informed that we could not sit until our order was taken. Asked where we were supposed to wait and just informed that we could not sit. Understand that they have limited seating but was handled extremely rudely by the manager. Rude enough that all three of our families walked out. Was Friday nite, but was not overly busy and there was much seating available as we left. Heard the pizza was good but will never find out cause we will not go back to where paying customers are treated like that. Can not believe the owner knows how his customers are being treated.

We have been dinning at Brooklyn Pizza for over 3 years. All dishes and salads are very tasty and portions are large. Service is friendly. This is a place you can take the entire family to and not break the bank. We eat out often and visit Brooklyn Pizza 5-6 times a month. Jill does a great job of managing this restaurant. If you take notice you will see that all employees are always working and never standing around. Also take note that the wait staff is young and most likely their first or second job. Its a well organized business with a staff that cares. A great value for selection, taste and service.

Coming from the NY/NJ to the South I had an actual idea of what East Coast pie is supposed to taste like. For a while, there were no places that served authentic pizza. A hot & humid land of PapaJohns and Dominos. Brooklyn breaks that trend with its awesome selection of REAL east coast pizza and great customer service. You can bring the kids, but grab a beer and watch a game. A casual atmosphere where you can stuff your face while watching the cooks make the pizza. Very great job on the owners part making this place my go-to pizza spot.

Ate here a couple of times, both of which were good. Their house salad is a traditional American style salad --very basic (lettuce, tomatoes, etc), and their pizza is traditional New York style --hence the name. Their pepperoni pizza is extremely greasy which is good if you enjoy that kind of pizza. The restaurant is cafe style with a great layout. Has plenty of flat-screen TVs and is very clean and tidy. Id certainly eat here again though probably wouldnt be my first choice.

A little confusing going in, you order first at counter. Hopping to find some great homemade meatballs but both the meatballs and calamari are not made in house fresh after I was told they were. Very clean and tidy but looking like it needs a facelift. Affordable and service was friendly. Still looking for the Italian spot that I can brag about because its that good.

Full disclosure: Im a yinzer from Western PA. I grew up eating the square, think pizza that Brooklyn calls "Sicilian." Folks, Brooklyns Sicilian pie is legit. From the perfect crust to the sweet, tangy sauce, Brooklyn brings it back. If youre from my old stompin grounds, youll remember places like Buzzis, Breezys, and Yolandas. Brooklyns Sicilian is right up there.

Weve been eating there for many years but since we moved to Fort Mill we dont get to go as frequently as we use to. We went last weekend for dinner & the staff was awful. It was all young guys that had no personality, didnt talk, didnt smile, they looked like they didnt want to be there at all. The atmosphere has definitely changed & made us want to leave

Weve been eating here since we moved to the area about 2 years ago and both the service and the food have been fantastic. Doesnt matter what night or whether its eat in or take out - their pizzas are always cooked perfectly. If you like New York style pizza as much as you like consistency, this will quickly become a favorite spot.

Since moving from NY 2 years ago to charlotte my husband and I have searched high and low for decent pizza. This place is the only thing that has come close. Eeverything tastes great! Only downfall is that they dont deliver but it is deffintly worth the trip. Delish, friendly staff, and fair prices!

This is one of 3 pizza places owned by two brothers from NY. As I said in my review on Brooklyn South, this is the best pizza I have ever tasted. You need to try this restaurant. You will get addicted. By the way, the name of the restaurant is Brooklyn Pizzeria (not Brooklyn Pizza Parlor).

So far, this is the best NY style pizza weve found in Charlotte. We drive out of our way, past MANY other pizza places (not that weve tried them all) to go here. The crust is nice & thin & they have fantastic garlic knots (the kids LOVE them!).

If you can get it fresh, the pizza is good. Not really what Id call NY or Brooklyn style - the crust is not crispy nor that thin - but it tries. There are some good basics and the decor is okay. Better than Hawthornes on Carmel.

Cute decor, with table signs labeled for Brooklyn Streets. Had the chicken parm - SO disappointing. The chicken was clearly from a package of frozen breaded chicken. Pizza is just OK - garlic rolls are very good.

Friendly to both wallet and stomach. My friends are always trying different things here and loving them, but for me I always gotta go with a couple slices of pizza... Nothing beats it!

Being from NJ I am very picky about pizza. This place is great. Staff is friendly. Good is good. Even the sweet tea is good. Chicken stuffed pizza is my favorite.

As a vegan, I sometimes struggle to find Pizza I can actually like, but they have it here, a spinach pizza with a wonderful sauce on thin crust... loved it.

Stromboli was fantastic, sweet tea was great, salad fresh. Couldnt quite tell who my server was... a little confusing but I was well served nonetheless.

Best of the pizza by the slice (which admittedly isnt really good pizza making technique), great lunch specials which include pastas

One of the best pizza places in Charlotte for sure. Friendly stuff and affordable rates for all kinds of pizza.
