The food was unique and a nice change of pace for breakfast. My wife got the Monte Cristo which is very good tasting (see picture). Her dish was supposed to come with cinnamon fried ice cream, but they were out and hadnt changed the menu yet, so that was a bit disappointing. I got the chicken and the egg which was overall very good. The chicken was excellent, and so was the sauce, but the biscuit was dry, and the egg was tasteless. As stated, a nice change of pace, but I wouldnt spend $22 here again for breakfast. Also, they dont provide free tap water, only bottle water which added $2 to our tab.

Happened to come across it yesterday as I was wandering around Charlotte. Loved the food, you can definitely taste the quality and the cashier was super friendly and sweet. However, Im giving them 4 stars because theyre a little pricy. Paid $15 for a 6in sandwich and cup of soup. Would expect that in a restaurant, not an order out shop.

Ive been wanting to try this place for a while and wasnt disappointed. I got the ham and cheese breakfast sandwich which was delightful. I also was able to try the breakfast burger with the tritip beef. While the burger tasted fine, it was a tad dry. I felt the sandwich needed a sharper cheese and a chipotle sauce. Ill definitely return!

Had the reuben and house made chips. Easy to tell they take care in preparing each element of the sandwich from the coarse ground mustard to the large tender pieces of corned beer to the bread. Located inside the 7th Street market this is a top choice despite the strong competition.

Tried going there twice around 3:55 pm. They refused to serve me as they claimed they close at 4 pm. 2 issues: 1. It was BEFORE 4 pm and 2. Their website clearly states they are open until 5 pm! What was most shocking, they were rude to me about it haha... I give up.

Had 2 of their muffins today, (orange and crumb). They were horribly stale and dry! Cant believe that they are selling this garbage and trying to pass it off as delicious baked goods! I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE! If I could give 0 stars, I would!

The most delicious food My wife and I have tried in a long time. local Loaf would be perfect to cater events. Staff was super friendly and made time to answer questions we had about specifics to certain meals. Definitely will be going back!

Chicken & The Egg is the best thing Ive had in recent memory. Stayed in Charlotte for 3 days and came here for breakfast every single morning. The cucumber onion salad is very good and compliments the main course.

Tasty stuff. The pancakes are hands down delicious and the yogurt and granola bowl is well more than filling. Also, spectacular coffee!!! Top this off with a friendly staff and you have a fantastic restaurant.

Ive been there I really enjoyed the food and their breads are really great I recommend going if you are in the area or just make a plan to go but go its has a great atmosphere

Had the steak & cheese! Sooo good. I dont like spicy food, however the jalapeno horseradish sauce was more like a mustard. It was soo YUMMY!

A delicious option at 7th Street Market. Great pastries, pretzels, breakfast options. Numerous vegetarian options that are excellent.

Absolutely love their food. The Local Loaf burger is one of my favorites in CLT; the freshly made brioche bun is hard to beat.
