I work all over ny/nj. when Im on long island I go out of my way to get lunch there. they make these home made style sandwiches that are so delicious I bring a few home to the fridge. Its chicken cutlet, broccoli rabe, roasted peppers with fresh mozz on this panini kind of roll. Im telling you its a beautiful thing. the Sicilian slices are fantastic too.

Come here with an empty stomach. Huge portions. One favorite is the Eggplant Rollatini. Gets cramped inside so make reservations. Good luck getting a table Fri or Sat nights. Excellent value. Good, quality, food-for-the-soul Italian.
