My family and I have been going here since the late 90s and have enjoyed it. I cant say they do everything right, but what they do right tastes very good. Theyve been around a long time and we order from there 50 or 100 times a year. Since Ive become a Vegetarian I like this place even more for their choices. Their fake chicken is great and their General Tsos Tofu is VERY good. I will say more often than not the egg rolls arent fresh - I know this because once I got a fresh made and cooked eggroll and it was GREAT. I realize that you have to make them in advance but it tasted SO good fresh. Their vegetable fried rice is great, my wife loves their crispy duck. For a local Chinese food place, theyre very good - we continue to for more than 25 years even though there are many others. Check around for coupons - theyre VERY worth it.

This used to be a great chinese restarant, not so much anymore. I used to order here all the time, but since the new owners took over this year the food has honestly been terrible. They give very small portions of meat compared to the other local chinese, and the food is lacking anyways, their sesame chicken has pineapple sauce on it like you get with sweet and sour chicken???! Crab racoon has almost no filling, and their prices dont make any sense for the portions they give you, I for one am moving on from this place and theyre lucky thats all Ive said about their poor quality food. Im not exaggerating, youre better off ordering from any of the other local chinese restaruants, Ive been over charged on my credit card on more then one occasion ordering food from here.

There arent too many local Chinese restaurants with the attention to detail that the Jade Palace exhibits. The food is good, the service better. My hot tea( and a fine tea it is too) is replenished constantly and if the tea glass is too hot, my waitress wraps it; questions are asked as to whether I would like the soup hotter.And where in the Hudson Valley are there chocolate fortune cookies? Here at the Jade Palace. I would also like to comment on "Johns" diatribe on "real" Chinese food. No, this isnt. The restaurant isnt filthy; there are no toxic chemicals in the area, and the pork doesnt bark. Arrogance thy name is John. So if you like very good Chinese AMERICAN cuisine and lovely service in a clean and welcoming atmosphere--the Jade Palace is for you.

They overcharged me for a lunch order and argued it was a chef specialty yet they clearly list a different price for lunch and dinner under chef specialties. On top of that the food was barely edible as it was so overcooked I couldnt even cut it with a knife. The crab rangoons barely had anything in them. I will not be going back.

Very good food. Vegetables are fresh, the chicken is nice and crispy and the prices are much better than Chen Young. The staff is very friendly and it seems to take no time at all for food to be delivered. Very underrated place in a town with such dissaponting resteraunts. My favorite Chinese by far.

One of the two Chinese restaurants we frequent for take-out. Food is excellent and consistent. The quality is definitely worthy of a second / third helping. When you ask for spicy, you get SPICY! I love that. Courteous on the phone and prompt delivery.

Jip you on food in comparison to other local places, ordered no vegetables, and got vegetables and pineapple in my meal...food isnt even good. Go somewhere else.
