The food was better than expected but that didnt make up for the horrible service. The waitress never told us about the specials. We were missing part of our order so we told her immediately, she never came back to the table, not even to ask if everything was ok, not even for the check. We waited over 30 minutes just for the check. We watched at least 3 other tables got their food and checks (we only had three people in our party.) Its a very small place, maybe 10 tables, not big enough to forget you have customers waiting. I eventually walked up to the bar to pay the bill and thats when the waitress decided to approach me. By that time my husband and son had gone out to the car. We drove out of our way to try this place out, needless to say I wont be going back.

Walked in sat down and waitress never looked our way. Three tables (7) people not very busy. We were there at least 5 minutes, no one came to the table. Waitress talked to one table, gave menus and took order at table next to us, she never acknowledged we were at table. Waited patiently then got up walked past waitress and left. Not impressed with the waitress. Wont bother driving up there again!

Great little place. We arrive here by boat from across the lake. The ribs were prepared in a molasses based sauce. Sooooo good! The beer was a darker yet not bitter beer called Ubu from Lake Placid brewery. The husband/wife team and staff were very talkative and friendly.
