First of all Mike Cavallo ,if you could read the menu it says Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, closed at 6:45 for food. Thursday, Friday,and Saturday, 7:45. So before running your mouth learn the facts. People like you amaze me. You come into my place and the first thing you do is start in about how you buy a place and fix them up. I really dont need or want your kind in my place. So move on. If anyone would like the truth to the whole story stop by and Ill give you the details. Ive been in business for 24 years I must be doing something right. Maybe its the canned salty gravy! Oh but wait was it the underdone french fries which by the way you ate everything on your plate, so it must not have been that bad.I assume you are just pissed because I told you that you were wasting you time trying to get me to sell. This business is my heart and soul to which money cannot buy! Stop by again in 20 years for some more salty gravy!

Stopped for lunch today. Wow. Ordered the roast beef sandwich and fries. The fries where barely cooked the gravy was canned and salty as hell. The roast beef was very tender under the gravy. I spoke to the bartender/owner about bringing the people I am staying with for dinner. She made sure I knew they close at 6:45 even though there menu says 7:45. I asked her if she would ever sell and I gave her my card. She just made excuses on why I could not make her place better. She is sitting on a gold mine and she doesnt get it. Reviews say best place in star lake to eat. Not many choices to chose from.

The best food and atmosphere in the Adirondacks. The roast beef sandwich is the best. Tender beef, delicious homemade gravy and the fries are always cooked to perfection. Definitely a "must stop" if you are traveling through the Adirondacks.
