Dont know what Fikret is so disappointed in. The food is always fresh & incredibe! If you think they load you up on the sides you can ask to not have any with your order at a discounted price, something I always do since my appetite is not so big; BUT I also often order their amazing side of orzo by itself for my lunch, its incredible! I would urge you to try this place again, Fikret. Your rating of 2 stars does not do this place justice.

Greek food inside an expanded old Dairy Queen location. Real good Greek selections such as pastichio and moussaka with old standby gyro (chicken and traditional blend) which can be added to salads for modest upcharge. Desserts are homemade, varied and delicious including galactoboureko (SP?) Which is farina enriched custard wrapped in phyllo sheets. Really good sized portions of tasty food at modest prices. Great value and great taste.

Food was fresh and amazing!! Service outstanding and prices very reasonable. My only issues was I wanted to order multiple items but will address in return visit. Ate til full with girlfriend and still had 2 containers of leftovers to take home. Would have taken photos but I was too busy eating .... salad was the first pic then was all about eating .. will post more when I go back

Lets start out that the food is excellent. A word of warning though is that the restaurant is not handicap friendly. The handicap parking spaces arent marked with a sign so in the winter the lines arent visible so everyone parks in them. Restrooms are not accessible. With that said, the service is great and the staff its very friendly. The food comes out quick too. I will be back.

Excellent late lunch on the way from upstate NY back to Connecticut. The food was great, the servers were polite and helpful. I was travelling with a native Greek speaker and the owner was more than happy to spend some time reminiscing about Greece and telling the store of how he got to Monticello. A happy surprise on a long trip. Will stop again if I get the chance.

Driving from Syracuse to NYC, stopped in Monticello to find food. Picked this place for possible vegetarian options. Had a party of 5 - everything we ordered was delicious and attractive. Walked out with some dessert from their Bakery selection that ended up being amazing too. This place was very budget friendly too.

Authentic Greek dishes in an informal setting. Varied menu with plenty of other options if you dont want a Greek dish. Never been disappointed and have gone there numerous times. Super nice staff and always quick service. Their take out is fantastic if you want to be lazy about making dinner.

Amazing Greek food and American classics! Favorite thing on the menu is the simple bacon cheeseburger. Ive been coming here since it opened and the quality of the food has never waivered. Soft serve custard and hard ice cream at the neighboring Christos Sweet Shop (same owner) is to die for!

Service was not great, I will give it to them that it was near closing time on a Sunday night, but our waitress seemed to forget about us. We had the falafel pita and vegetarian crepe; the falafel lacked flavor. However the price of the place cant be beat.

Their food is very good here. I like their burgers, gyros, and grilled shrimp on their Greek salad. I also like their sweet potato fries. Im not a big fan of their regular French fries as they can be mushy.

The food is really good, but I prefer take out. I dined in once and the waitress keep touching my husband, rubbing his shoulders and such. It was a really uncomfortable situation. The food is good though.

The gyros are top-notch and service is excellent! The mail carrier came by to deliver and the owner offered him a complementary bottled water, so color me impressed. Try the baclava cheesecake!
