Great bar, great food, solid portions. American fare with a French/European touch. Prime rib, steaks, seafood, chicken and pasta dishes ... lovely, hearty soups and very generous appetizers - you just cant go wrong. Very comfortable atmosphere in a lovely little tucked away restaurant. Local regulars tend to be a more mature/sensible group. Make reservations, especially if you plan on eating at the bar. Its an intimate little establishment which can fill up easily. Chef Jean Boulidor has been a long standing chef and restaurateur in the area. Overnight accommodations can be made at nearby Bed & Breakfasts. Local hiking and rock climbing at Minnewaska State Park can be an added bonus as well as winery tours in the area.

This sweet getaway from the beaten path had a homey atmosphere with French fine dining. The place was filled with regulars as the owner called them by name as she poured their drinks. The waitresses were very kind and hard working. The food was plentiful and filling- my wife and I shared the duck with some appetizers. The price point is a little high but worth the experience. Its a home away from home... if your home was a French cottage in the hills.

Really nice old school restaurant. Good classic food with super friendly staff. A big, quality meal for a relatively small price. The best thing, which was a first for me, is that they take nearly any meal on the menu and create a childs portion for $10. So much better than the chicken finger option! If you blink, youll miss it. Ive been driving by it for 10 years before I stopped for the first time.

Delicious cuisine in a quaint old house with intimate dining experience. .Tonight we loved the scallops Provencal appetizer and baked brie in phyllo dough served with ripe strawberries, Apple, grapes and we shared prime rib dip served on perfect baguette bread. Staff always pleasant and perfect and drinks are.great too!

What a treat this place is. I have passed it a million times, but never realized that it truly is not an inn, but a fantastic restaurant. The salad dressing was superb (I had raspberry vinagrette), all homemade! The specials are delicious and you get your monies worth! I will absolutely go back!

The food is delicious, with nicely sized portions. Order the mussels appetizer - you wont be disappointed. The desserts are made in house - be sure to have a piece of Key Lime pie!
