My second time eating here. The first time I felt rushed but thought it may have just been the server. This time it was so bad that they were literally trying to take our plates while we were eating. They brought the check immediately after dinner without our asking, and then came over several times and asked if I had put my card in it. The manager came over and I asked if there was a time limit and he actually said "we have other people who want to eat!" I asked him to confirm that rushing the diner was their policy and he confirmed it. If youre just looking for food, not bad, although takeout would be more comfortable. By far the rudest staff and most uncomfortable atmosphere I have ever had the displeasure to pay for.

Very fine Italian restaurant. Was recommended by someone in town. 4/8/15 The service was excellent! The food was very good. I ordered the Lobster Ravioli, wonderful. The fried Calamari could use some more flavor, although is was still good. The waiters were very good and attentive, although they did not introduce themselves, they were polite and the courses just flowed. The manager came by to ask if everything was good. The prices werent too bad, but could seem over priced, depending whos dinning. Very small dining area, could be considered intimate. The atmosphere was nice.

Food is decent, nothing special.... but the service is terrible. Granted, Im not a snoody hoity toity yuppy and maybe thats why we were completely ignored (we waited an hour and a half for our food...meanwhile the party to our left waited less time and were given a free glass of wine for their troubles) Kind of funny now that I think about it,. that very table was having a discussion about classism (tables are so close together I couldnt help but overhear) and I would say thats the very problem with this restaurant.

Growing up in an Italian household where a brother became a professional chef, I have a fastidious palette when it comes to Italian food. Because of this, I can tell you with confidence that Arta serves excellent food. Not only is the food good, but the bartender makes one of the best martinis Ive ever had. To top things off, they have a great lunch menu with reasonable prices (about $8 for a salad and plate of pasta). If you havent been to Artas yet, get there!

Overly aggressive female waitress in the morning. I understand shes trying to "up sell" but she confused us and we ordered another dish by accident she knew that we ordered 5 dishes when we only had 4 people but didnt say anything. The food was decent certain things were way too salty for us. The home made pasta with meatballs a no no. The shrimp fradiavlo was good but had better. Salmon was probably the best dish they had.

WOW! I was shocked at the superior nature and cuisine selection at Arta in Ringwood. I have to say that I didnt expect too much because it was in a small NJ town, but I was wrong. The diverse and unique dishes along with the small home atmosphere brought the meal to a 10 out of 10. Delicious food, my husband and I went on Valentines Day and are now going to celebrate our 1 year anniversay there as well.

Got a rotten clam here once, and was yelled at and told i didnt order clams. I refused to pay for the meal and they still put it on the check. I had to argue with the manager for 5 minutes to get it taken off. Never apologized once for letting a rotten clam get mixed into a meal. Worse food experience in my life. That is the only reason I am posting this. Never going back.

Great service and attitude. Food is at its pricier side. Did not mention they will add $5 per dish to split one dish to two dishes, we ended up paying $10 more to just split 2 dishes but we decided not to challenge that based on their good service. Dining area is neat. A fly is bothering us while eating took another star away.

Great dining experience. One of our favorite places to go for special occasions. Small dining space and romantic. Amazing food!! Great quality, meal size and presentation! If you are looking to have that special night out this place is perfect! From the outside and location it looks average but you will leave impressed.

Arta is always a winner and we live to bring people here. The food, the service, atmosphere is excellent! Romeo the host always makes his rounds ensuring everything is perfect. The same staff has also been there for quite a while. Arta is a gem outside of the city.

Another wonderful evening at Arta. The food was delicious and the service gracious as always. A very relaxing atmosphere and, though its only a few minutes drive for me, its definitely worth a trip for those who live farther away.

The food is always great, drinks are perfect ! Desert is scrumpsous and the atmosphere is great. Waiters are friendly and attentive ! Fun place to have dinner parties with friens, reasonable prices... we always feel welcomed !
