I use to go here often however one day I ordered a root beer float thru drive up. He stated what size. I said it only cones in one size. No he reported it came in three sizes. So I ordered a large root beer float. I received the drink and realized it was just root beer. Not a float. I believe he was the manager stated that was what I ordered. I said I had ordered a root beer float. He said I did not. I stated I would like to order the float as that was what I ordered. He stated I had to get back in the line and order the float. I said that was what I ordered. I would pay the difference. He stated the next customer was waiting . I stated I was the current customer and I did not receive what I ordered. He stated I had to get back in the line again and re order. Finally I just left. I use to go here a few times a week. Have not been back since. Love the food not the treatment.

If I could give this place no stars I would. Customer service is seriously lacking. I was greeted by a man with dripping wet hands who took my money. I watched him wiping dirty counters and then with his dripping wet hands handle my food. I expressed concern and was told the water is sanitized and its not a big deal. I said well you are wiping dirty counters. The manager then came and said is there a problem? I said well this mans hands are dripping wet and he is handling my food. I was shocked when the manager said big deal its sanitized water. Hello he is wiping dirty counters and touching my food with his bare wet hands. The manager then said big deal it happens everywhere. I said no it most certainly doesnt. To witch he replied "Why dont you get a job."

I went to the new A&W, on Court st in Binghamton. It just opened today. I remember going to the one in Cortland, and remembering how good the food was. I have been waiting for months for this place to open, and I was really disappointed . The burger was cold, the onion rings were ok, and it was a little pricier than I thought. Will I go back, yes I probably will. Just to see if things improved

We got 2 root beer floats and cones for the kids. The cones were good. The root beer floats were disgusting. The root beer needed to be changed. We brought them back to the counter and the employee put a straw in one of the drinks and took a sip. He said it tastes like root beer to me and gave us back the drinks. Disgusting and totally unacceptable.

This review is for the combo that we had there. We had a BOGO coupon from AARP for the chili hot dog combo meal. This was quite possibly the worst hot dog we ever had. The texture was similar to soft rubber with very little flavor. The chili was what I would imagine canned chili to be like. Ive had better from a gas station covenience store.

Always packed around lunch time. Besides the craziness, the guys that work there are polite and friendly. The bathrooms need some real scrubbing. If they were cleaner they would have got 5 stars from me.

A&W and long John silvers. A great combination and a great place to stop and eat. Compared to other fast food chains this one tends to be a little more pricey.
