This place is now called "DARNA". The management is very bad here. Food was 8/10. We enjoyed the meals actually from a taste perspective but they left a really bad aftertaste we horrible management and lack of service. We reserved a section for a private party and there were normal customers sitting with us which was fine to an extent however they started eating from our food for our guests (100~). Other parties were also taking from the food that was in our section and leaving our guests with no food to eat. We even brought in sweets from home to serve and they other customers that were there for the Ramadan Buffet started eating and didnt leave any for our guests. They restaurant also didnt bring all of the food that we had ordered until after everyone got full. Manager started yelling at my aunt & uncle who was hosting this Iftar and started a huge fight. So disorganized. This is the 3rd and last time we reserve at this place.

Horrible experience. As a family we love to eat out and we always prefer Arabic or turkish. However, the food here was by far the worse we have had. The humus was overwhelmingly smothered in lemon juice. The babaganoush was not prepared well at all. We sent it back and the still tried to add it to the bill. The kibbeh was salty and cold on the inside. We got their combination platter and the chicken tasted rotten and raw. The shish kebab was unbearably salty and peppery. Their shrimp was bland and smelly. The lamb chops were burnt. We left feeling sick and disturbed. Im in bed and cant sleep due to the nasty taste that Im trying to wash down with tea. This is my first review I am ever writing and I just felt that had to express my concerns. I hope that the establishment takes this review serious and Fires the chef that evidently has no idea how to season properly nor cook kebabs.

This place is amazing. The best hummus in New Jersey. This place knows good halal Arabic food, plus there are many types of food to choose from including Italian and seafood. The place is literally the biggest space wise in New Jersey with a private room. The prices are reasonable and the portions huge. Family friendly and the staff is great. If you happen to have an issue, they go out of there way to fix it. I was surprised at all the options they provide such as chartering, booking different events in there huge space, special offers and discounts. Its very clean! Highly recommend, you wont be disappointed.

My friends and I reserved the private room for a birthday party and they said each person would be charged $18 including a dinner plate, a soft drink and a tip fee. The owner said we could play any type of music wed like at any volume but for the first 2 hours, hed keep telling us to lower the volume or change the song. Also, we were charged $75 for drinks. Furthermore, we even had to pay an extra $40 as a "service fee." Lastly, the waiters couldnt speak English and the service was slow and awful. The food was great but other than that, Id recommend you to never go there.

Nice place. Excellent food good service. Friendly staff. Makes you feel welcomed. And they really care about there guests. I thought the place was empty but it was a lot of people around the store. we didnt feel any one around us because the store is huge and they have different sections. I wonder if this store will be full and packed one day. Im sure they will if the they keep the good job they doing right now. Anyway We tried Syraan BBQ it was amazing and enough for me and my friend . You should try it.

Came here for iftar during Ramadan and overall I enjoyed it. Some of the food was great some was sub par. The chicken chops they had tasted really good. but the makloobah (upside down) the rice was hard and not very tastey. Hummus tasted good but the coleslaw was really bad. so It was hit or miss on dishes. The staff was great and very helpful. New owners so im sure they will improve as time goes on.

The ambiance was beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was EXCELLENT! Everyone was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the mint lemonade. I ate tbe falafel platter and I honestly think it was the best falafel Ive ever had! I am definitely returning and recommending this place to everyone I know!

Good service, really delicious food for this price. Usually you get 3 chickens and rice in 1 portion, they give you around 7 BIG pieces chicken and rice salad also 3 appetizers for free. Looks pretty and also try their traditional lemonade with mint. Go there you wont get out from there unhappy

Very good food. Very good option for Ramadan Iftar. The service is really good. Brought black and green tea to our table and it was super good. Will definitely go back. They have a basement where you can pray and that place is really big where men and women take turns to go and pray.

the buffet here in the heart of the middle eastern community was delicious. hot and tasty with some home style dishes. makuluba and addus soup. it was quality visit. make sure you get the mint lemonade, right amount of sweet and mint mix. good to try.

Best Mediterranean restaurant in NJ. The entrée s are just as authentic as if it was cooked by a lovely middle eastern Grandma. So taken care of the details and tastes. And the service is professional, reasonably fast & friendly! Highly recommended!

Amazing desserts. Well worth the drive from Sussex county (about 45 minutes with good traffic). Amazing prices as well. For $10 you will get a wide variety of desserts for two.
