This was a nice place to have lunch, we ate on the patio and it was a beautiful day. They gave me a handful of chips with my burrito, which was a nice touch. I thought the food was delicious. They were a little expensive, but it was interesting to order at the counter without the Chipotle style assembly line. Service with a smile and nice people, at least at lunch. I think some of the older complaints about service are out of data.

the food there is usually good in my opinion but the service is horrible. I called to place an order and the man was rude, gave a disgusting attitude, was basically rushing me off the phone and kept raising his voice. Just that dismissive service alone makes me not want to call and place an order or even to the restaurant itself and waste my money. Needs work on dealing with the customers with respect.

The food is pretty good. The rice is always dry and rubbery! Dont expect service with a smile when you go there though. It looks like they beat their employees every day. Especially the chubby chica who complains in English about the customers while they are standing right there!

I have found the food at Green Cactus pretty good in my times visiting there. I have ordered out and eaten in. You order and pay at the counter, staff I have dealt with usually seems very unhappy. Overall I think the food is tasty and fresh and a good value for the price paid.

The web site states i can get any burrito one foot enchilada style and a foot long... I call them and they cannot do such. To top it off the person who answers the phone on 7 /22/2011 at 2:46pm is RUDE AS HELL. Very dismissive and doesnt care for the customers requests at all.

I usually order in person, and it takes maybe 10 mins at most to get a burrito. Not fast food, but its descent quality. Today I called in a phone order (pick up, not delivery) for one burrito, and was told 20 mins. It takes that long to heat a burrito?

I miss their nachos so much now that Ive moved out of state. Its fast food, pricey for that sort, but the foods good and the chips are great. And its the only tolerable food by Stony Brook University thats not soup.

You arent likely to find authentic Mexican food on long island, but green cactus does a reasonable facsimile of texmex. Tacos are probably the way to go, given the food ordered by the group i was with.

Great burritos. Especially the green cactus burrito with chicken. House made salsa is delicious, although a little spicy for me. Generally nice people and food is fresh.

Very good Mexican food. Not authentic, but still tasty. Its a good place to get takeout, but I wouldnt stay and eat as the venue does not seem very family friendly.
