Though its tiny, the 50s-luncheonette-themed restaurant is the best breakfast (and lunch) value in town. Everything is always prepared fresh, including the OJ. The owner and all the workers treat their customers like old friends stopping by for a bite. The food is higher quality and MUCH less expensive than at those chain breakfast places up the road about 3 lights. You can also get some specialties (scrapple, grits...) that you cannot find anywhere else locally. I am there nearly every Sunday after church, and recommend this establishment to anyone local or otherwise!

The service was mediocre. I dont really recommend it for a family meal, as the wait staff wore what they wanted. I could see through one girls shirt, it was distracting. I understand wearing shorts, but I dont want to see your bra while youre putting my food on the table. The food was mediocre, except for the pancakes, the pancakes were delicious. The coffee was pretty good. I give it 3 stars, they should be more personable and attentive.

Stopped in on our way to AC, and glad we did. Kitchy decor, but very pleasant and bright. You walk in and are immediately greeted with a welcome and a smile. I had the homemade corned beef hash and my wife had the Halla french toast with bananas. Both were excellent. A must stop if you are in the area for breakfast or lunch.

The raisin bread French toast and fresh orange juice make this one of the best places in Ocean County to have breakfast. It can get a bit crowded, but thats because everyone here knows how good it is and weve never waited more than a few minutes for a table.

Ive been ordering Hot Corned Beef Joes from Fast Break for 20 years now. Ive seen 3 different owners take over and I will say that now it is the best it has ever been! Big Hearted John and Cindy have done a great job!

Solid dinner that doesnt feel like one. The giant open windows and bright interior are unique to the style. The servers can be a little abrasive and the cooks unsavory with their etiquette. Great spot for a quick eat.

This is now my "go to" spot when in the area! 50s retro decor with quality food and a friendly, attentive staff. Oh yeah......try the fresh squeezed oj! You will not be disappointed.....believe me!
