"Perfect" the chef said as he pulled my half burnt, half raw pizza from the oven. The furthest thing from it. This place is 2 miles from my house and since reopening was rather poor, at least on pizza and takeout (rotten greens in the salads on several occasions, for one). My father in law commented on the lack of quality. Hes from Boston they have no business talking about pizza but I agree. For a month, they had a brilliant gent in the kitchen. Went back tonight, was presented my "perfect" pizza, and shant return for another. To be fair, they offered to make another, but if theyre satisfied serving that up in the first place why wait. Wish I could post a picture of this dreck in front of me. Took it home for that reason only.

This place belongs on Arthur Avenue or or Mulberry Street. It is an absolutely fantastic addition to the Westchester restaurant scene. The decor is old world Italian and maybe a little too formal for the area, but the food is exceptional and that is the focus of this great little Italian spot tucked in the middle of nowhere. No reason to go through the menu item by item -- you are not going to go wrong with anything. The servers have a complete understanding of the menu and will guide you based on your eating preferences. If in doubt, go with the Chicken Scarpariello. Give serious consideration to having a few of the great pasta dishes as appetizers.

Food was OK waited hour and half just to get appetizers. We should have stopped there. My wifes chicken was like rubber, my friends Veal chop looked like quality meat but it was ordered medium and came out raw. He sent it back and it came out rare. The chef came out and refused to cook it anymore. Mine was chicken LaVista supposed to have prosciutto and cheese but they substituted a roasted pepper for the prosciutto. I have to say the staff was great and they did take off the chicken, veal and a bottle of wine from the bill.

Came here on a Friday night for dinner. The food was excellent, and the staff very friendly. They provided insight into the specials and the chef was finishing Branzino (a special) in the dining room. Sitting down they provided a small cheese and bread plate while we decided on drinks. The overall meal took a while as it was paced slower, but it seemed perfectly timed between courses. Portions were generous, and the tiramisu was exceptional.

Ninos!! now La Vista. Love this place. Atmosphere is great, the service staff is a lot of fun. Food is generally good. Reason it doesnt get five stars is that it is pricey for the food and area. Also the menu is tricky. Somethings are amazing and will wow you other things are...ok. Creates a problem when your partner gets something great and you end up with ok.
