I have only ordered out from this particular Chipotle location once (so far), not long after they first opened it. I have eaten at other Chipotle locations a dozen or so times and as far as fast food goes, it is by far amongst the healthiest, freshest, and most ethically agreeable out there... I will always support the Chipotle brand based off their effort to avoid GMOs and reject McDonalds funding and business practices. Anyway, I see all the bad reviews for this location and I believe it, but my experience was really okay. There was a super long line and I thought the employees were young, slightly inexperienced, a bit frazzled, but they handled it alright... they were really visibly trying to hold it all together and communicate with one another. Maybe things have changed since then or they still need a lot of work with their service, but it was acceptable to me, the portion sizes we received for burrito bowls were very fair, and the food was good. I would go back, and hope that they continue to fine-tune their skills there.

Have been going to Chipotle for a long time. The food from the other locations on the island are perfect. This location opened recently and so far Im not impressed. The Sofritas are crumbled almost to mush and are not spicy at all. On top of that they have no flavor. The Chips have no lime flavor like you get from the other locations. But the most surprising thing is that the Guacamole tastes very strange. The closest flavor I can think of is chopped liver which is strange because you dont normally think of liver when you think of avocados. Theres also little if no lime flavor. Drive to one of the other locations. They are further but the food is light-years better.

Horrible horrible horrible they just open and the food dont look fresh and appetizing at all everything looks like it just seats there and no ones bother to re-fresh the food guacamole looks brown the letters look brown the meat tasted nasty the workers argued with the customer stating that the food is fresh when you can see the food has been seating there for hours for a place that just open this is horrible will never ever go back if dont want to get sick dont go there this place should be close already I been to other chipotle and its very inviting food was amazing but the one in SELDEN IS HOOOOOORRIBLE

I like chipotle in general but I found this location below the usual standard. While I was there, the place was not crowded and yet it was filthy including the floors. Marks were visible where some tables were wiped down with a wet towel. I know this as I saw a worker wiping other tables with a wet towel. No spray bottle in sight. I dont consider this clean or sanitary. The ceiling was unfinished. Open wooden rafters. Chipotle goes with the modern industrial type look, but this looked like they just do not care.

Much Better food then I had imagined & after hearing negative media I still thought it was only right to judge it for myself & I had the Tacos with Chicken, Rice & a side of awesome Guacamole . Local Chipotle in Selden, NY is very clean, the staff is curious and its usually always busy which says a lot about any local franchise which all arent created equal in my experiences.

Worse chipotle I have ever had. Where to start...burnt chicken- literally burnt black chicken, brown guacamole, water down medium green sauce -no peppers-just water, just tomatoes in mild salsa, wrap was hard and chewy! So gross! Will never be back!!! Hauppague one is how chipotle suppose to be!!! Sheldon location is so gross!!!!

Great job chipotle you just killed the Hauppauge chipotle business in half, I was wondering why Hauppauge store is suddenly less busy and then I found out that they opened one in selden, everybody knows the most east you go on long island you canablzie the sales on west

Well I always loved chipotle and we needed on near by but the only problem I found was that they put less than they normally should , I asked for chicken they probably put like 3 or 4 pieces then I asked for extra they just put 2 more. They should start putting more .

Probably one of the worst chipotles Ive been too. Guac is super salty and everything else just taste weird. And they also forgot to cut my quesadilla and when I went back in to ask them to cut they said they cant and just handed me a bowl and a plastic knife.

Been here twice now, positive experiences both times. Clean store, hot & fresh food. It would be nice if they had a condiment/salsa bar like every other restaurant in this genre instead of just bottles of whatever hot sauce they had but 4/5 aint bad :)

The food is good, but they give the smallest scoops, especially with the meat. Any other chipotle they give bigger scoops and portion it well so your not just eating a bowl of rice. They are also always empty so I dont know why they are being so stingy
