I go to this place all the time because the food is great. However, I just placed my first order online since I was encouraged by the staff to try it out. So I did and I had a special instructions on one order so staff called and had me on speaker phone with 2 different people yelling at me telling me, "if you dont want cancel online." Then hung up on me!! When the special instruction was "No rice add broccoli" - Simple! What is sad is, if they saw who I was, because I pick up from there a lot, they wouldnt have been so rude and said anything like that to my face. I WILL FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO EAT CHINESE AND WILL TELL A LOT OF PEOPLE I KNOW WHO GO THERE MY EXPERIENCE!!

Hunan Wok is Amazing! Located on the Historic upper Union St in Schenectady,NY. The Dine in experience is fantastic the inside looks beautiful, the staff are friendly and the food is superb! I highly recommend Hunan Wok to all my friends and Family. The price is the lowest around for the amount of food you get. Im in love with the Sesame Chicken and Crab Rangoon; However the restaurant is a bit hard to find. Its located between Pias TaeKwonDo and Dunkin Donuts The address is 1617 Union St. Five Starz!!!

I tried their beef chow fun and a shrimp with spring roll off the Vietnamese menu to give them a second chance, both times it took them 30 minutes to prepare the food and it was going cold by the time I got it. Maybe youd have better luck with delivery because they only come into the eat-in area when they hear the door ring open. As I said in the title, its very bland food also. Its a clean place, but theres usually an inverse proportion between deliciousness and cleanliness in Chinese restaraunts.

I wish they would bring it back also. Spring salad was delicious. Good efficient service. Years ago (about 8) they were serving a shrimp that was pond fed. Had a mudd bottom of a lake taste to it.. I asked them about it.. They said they have since changed it.. I believe they have because i do not taste that dirt flavor in the shrimp.But you have to watch out for that in all Chinese restaurants..It is cheaper for them than ocean shrimp..

We have been ordering Hunan Wok for over 25 years. They have a great selection of dishes (my favorite is the chicken and vegetables) and the food is always hot and delicious! The delivery is quick and reliable, which is nice after a hard days work when you just dont feel like cooking! They also have a nice wonton soup. My familys favorite is the General Tsos chicken with whichever variety of rice youd like. Dial and enjoy!

This is the best in the area. As a vegetarian, I can get anything I want because they are very accommodating. All the vegetables used are always fresh and crisp. The soup is terrific, they make it with a water base at my request, including the hot and sour as well as the vegetable. Service has always been very good and consistent. I highly recommend this Niskayuna Upper Union Street neighborhood restaurant

Best Chinese food n Schenectady area. Excellent service-- today our delivery order got messed up because of our wrong ordering- they sent the correct one out in 5 min....... I have never seen that ever happening with any other restaurant where delivering is concerned.Thanks.

Its decent, had an issue with hard rice twice, finally went back for a round 3. Rice was hard, seemed not prepared properly. Also hair (not animal) on my chicken. Avoiding from here on out.
