I really wanted to like this salon. On the pros side, its a very cute place! Looks nice and is clean and new looking. I love the décor and the staff when you walk in was very pleasant in showing us around. Thats where the pros end. If you are going to have a nail salon - you should have staff that knows how to do nails. These are more "artists" than nail techs. First of all, my apt was at 3 PM. I didnt get seated until 3:20. Which wasnt a big deal but if you are running 20 minutes late - call? I dont need to pay for Saratoga parking if I dont have to. Also they closed at 4 so I know now my service is going to be rushed since everyone wants to get out of there. My "technician" was probably the worst I have ever had in my 15 years of pedicures. After being seated, she took twenty minutes to remove my nail polish that I had on ( she did step away for five minutes to "blow her nose" ) By this time, my daughter next to me had been scrubbed, snipped etc. When you have a pedicure they usually clean under the nail, trim the cuticles, etc. This girl did none of that. By the time she took the nail polish off, she spent (literally) four minutes analyzing my third toe over. I broke this toe in a running accident in high school. So its a little funny looking. She said that it looked like it had "some sort of infection" as the nail bed was growing funny (from being broken) and at this point the "service had to be discontinued." I was wondering that "service" she thought had taken place up to this point since all I had was my polish taken off. She said she would get a manager and check. Eight minutes goes by - nothing. SHE NEVER CAME BACK. Just walked away and left me soaking in a bucket. What kind of business does this? If I left my customers and just walked away from my job I wouldnt have any customers and would likely be fired! I got my shoes on, dried my feet off and walked back up to the lobby and asked for a refund (since I had prepaid) The worst part is that now it is 4 PM on a Sunday and I have to find a place that I can get into since we had a dinner party Monday night and I didnt have time to go anywhere during the day on Monday. This was inexcusable service and I went to another salon up the street (had to wait which made us late for other plans ) and there was no issue with this nail. Its too bad their nail techs dont know how to do nails. This could otherwise be a good place Overall very disappointed that they left me in a tough position and provided such bad customer service.

This place is awful, wish I could give it no stars! The Glitter Nail Bar was recommended to me by a friend of a friend. We were greeted at the door and asked what services we would like (I had already scheduled appointments in advanced). We were seated on a DIY Pallet Bench (not comfortable at all!) rather than massage chairs for our pedicures; our feet soaked in disposable buckets of water and not the nice bubble tubs. Pedicures were rushed by all four “nail artists”. When the pedicures were done we moved onto bar stools for our manicures (also not comfortable!). Manicures were also rushed. To top it all off the tools that were being used were rusty. The “nail artists” were not friendly and one hinted that they did not like working there. All they were concerned about was if we wanted to buy drinks. This was supposed to be a relaxing day with my maid of honor, mother, and aunt and a day for me to be pampered as the bride to be and turned out to be anything but! For being in Saratoga this is NOT a high-end nail salon….go elsewhere.

This place is a joke and owners are 2 clueless, emotional, naiive, unprofessional little girls that are just playing "business owner". The workers are treated poorly and spoken to like dirt by these 2 manic bipolar wanna-be s. They overbook their days, causing workers to have to rush nail jobs, make mistakes, and rob the customer of their full experience. Dont ever go here, especially when its busy like on weekends, YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR! These 2 kids have no business owning a salon, they themselves arent even licensed cosmetologists or nail techs! Hope you dont book for an important occasion at this salon as they have closed the place without warning due to "emotional distress" (aka manic bipolar episodes due to not being able to handle real life) several times this year.

Do not go here. The owners constantly over book the nail techs, which gives them no breaks at all. Which leads to have a very stressful environment for them, causing your nails to be rush and have a bad out come. The prices are ridiculous for most things and they charge double for a men. The two owners are not licensed cosmetologist or nail techs, which makes it so when the nail techs have the day off or take vacation days or have to call in sick, the nail techs are over booked even more. Its sad because the nail techs are very talented but you cannot see it because they are constantly rushed. Do not waste your money here.

Glitter Nail Bar is fantastic! It is my favorite nail salon, the girls are very talented nail technicians with a passion for creativity and respect for those who prefer neutral styles. The atmosphere is super fun, if you enjoy cocktails, laughter, conversation, great people this is the place to go! I booked 12 appointments for my bridesmaids, friends and myself recently and they made the entire experience a blast. The owners are so caring as well! Much love and respect!

Id give a negative rating if I could! They called the night before our appointments for my daughters bridal party to say they couldnt accommodate us...6 girls Mani/pedis...really?! We had called and scheduled this weeks in advance. They said they could only do 3 now and not full service...We were all from out of town and scrambled to find a place that at the last minute could fit us in....My suggestion...Dont give them the business... Theyre obviously not reliable!

The girls who work there do a great job and the place is clean, however rarely do they answer their phone. It takes days to get an appointment and usually messages have to be left multiple times. A message refers you to the website to book an appointment on line but in order to book the appointment you must provide your credit card information. I refuse to pay ahead of time for a service I have not received. It is unfortunate but I will not return.

I have been going here for over a year now and I absolutely love the place. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful, and amazingly talented. The owners are very welcoming and offer great suggestions for nail art. The technicians are very talented and if you come in with an idea from Pinterest they can easily recreate it. Its always a wonderful, exciting atmosphere and great place to go to treat yourself.

called me day of my appt to cancel. they were also having to close the next day something about employees not being available. i found that odd. also my nails fell off the two time before from anc. i will never go back again. one of the girls dressed so poorly that she had to keep adjusting her clothes so as not to have a wardrobe malfunction also her language was morw suited for an adult party.
