Everytime i come here i have a different unpleasant experience. None of the waitresses have any understanding of the items on the menu except for the basic guyanese foods. Today though is special, one of us ordered jerk chicken, that looked and tasted more like kung pao chicken with cabbage and green beans the poor guy had to dose it with pepper to eat it. I order bhaigan choka(mashed cooked eggplant) it was pre-cooked and frozen and they heat it in the microwave and brought it out. It was still cold, with chunks of ice in it still.....absolutely unforgivable....i will never come back here! On a good note a couple of the waitresses are pleasant and helpful, just untrained in their job. The 80s radio station played awesome music!

I will never again buy food from here! I was a customer before the current owners took over. The prices increased & the quality & taste decreased. Its the only place my dad would eat take out from & the last time we bought here was a little over a year. I got some yesterday & remembered why I stopped buying there. The house special fried rice was the best but its tasteless & waaay to expensive! $15!!! I got rice in my lettuce in the Lo Mein & in the chicken as well. I spent $40! $40 for 3 containers of food n to have to throw it away! So cant do this anymore! Ill stick to real Chinese & cook my Trini food @ home!

After waiting 20mins for a bowl of soup during my first few spoonfuls I discovered a bug.. yes a bug in my mouth from the soup. After spitting it out I ran to the bathroom where my friend brought it to the attention of our waitress who then said " nah its seasoning" I went on to tell her it was in my mouth I know its not seasoning. Only to realize the owner of the restaurant was sitting in the booth right next to me and hearing all this commotion did not come over to my table until a while after. I am soooooo disappointed and disgusted by this. And will never be going back there to eat

Man Ive been going here since my childhood they have a great selection of Guyanese culture food. The food is made fresh and comes out steaming hot, you cant wait to sick your teeth into it and taste the beautiful seasoning, sauce, and spices. I recommend the boneless chicken with French fries. Because with that and pineapple juice its an amazing combo and you would want to order it all day long you have to come here to experience culture and the love of food nice lol

This place is ridiculous, ordered food for pick up, the rude woman that worked in the front stated it would be 25 minutes, however when we got there to pick it up, it wasnt ready, waited for about an hour. Asked the woman why it wasnt ready she said its because she doesnt know whats going on in the kitchen. I dont recommend this place at all, go across the street to Hibiscus.

I had a great experience, ambience was good and the music but one problem, the food took forever to be served. I will be trying out again coz the music will keep me going back again. The chicken wings were spicy but it was greatttt i am from the Caribbean (Jamaica) so it was good. Will update u on my next visit in the next 3 weeks

SUCKS!!! Waitress was very unpleasant and never came back after she rudely dropped the food on the table. Asked for boneless fried chicken and received chicken soaked in garlic sauce instead. The rice was soggy and stuck together like oatmeal. Good luck going here maybe your experience would be better.

A pretty good place with friendly staff and service. Food taste isnt the same as the previous ownership, but it still tastes pretty good. My own recommendation? Garlic chicken in spicy fried rice. My go-to meal.

As good as the food is its not worth going for table service. The wait staff is horrible and the only reason Im writing this is to warn my fellow consumer. Do your self a favor just order take out.

The food is pretty tasty, we had curry goat & chicken with buss up shot (roti skin). We also ordered 2 drinks. They were ok. Sticks to the regular drinks. The service suck.
