Im never going back there again. For $30 I ordered 3 bagels, an egg sandwich with home fries, a pastry and 3 OJs. Seems a bit expensive. The bagel were soft but cold, and I got there right as they opened and unlocked the doors. I would think that all the bagels would be hot and fresh when they first open. The bacon egg and cheese was alright the cheese wasnt melted/ cooked on the eggs, just placed on the roll. The only thing that was absolutely delicious was the home fries, I even went back up in line to order more. Here is why Im not going back. I went back up and order another side of home fries, one of the girls called to the kitchen for it and then went to take the next customer in line. About a min later I saw my home fries appear in the window ready. I waited for about 5 mins while the girl who was helping me finished the other customer she helped, after that instead of coming back to me she called to help the next customer. And so I asked the closest employee who was a tall larger bulky woman with very short curly blond hair, if she could get me my food as it seemed that the girl helping me may have honestly forgotten. The bulky woman ask me who was helping me and I pointed her out, she then said to her in a very rude and sarcastic manner did you forget your customers home fries that have only been up for 2 secs. She then instantly started talking to another customer, I said to her that I have watched them sit up there for a while now, and she complexly ignored me and and then the girl who was originally helping me said to me you have to wait I have a customer, now her 2nd customer after me. Both employees were very rude and had no right to make any comments about how long it was there, making me feel stupid. It wasnt a big deal but the rude employees did enough for me not to go back, and I really did enjoy the home fries, too bad.

I only went in once so I cant say much about the service but, as I work in the area, management gets bagels from this place every so often. The bagels arent really that good; theres frequently no crust to them so eating one is like eating a round piece of white bread instead of a bagel. The one time I did go in was an average wait for average service to get an exorbitantly priced bacon, egg and cheese. $7 is really too much for something I can get at almost any other place in the area for two dollars less. I think the only reason they are successful is because they are in the dead center of an industrial area and take advantage of it.

My experience with this operation has been the worst on the planet. Every time I order they tell me they dont deliver here, then after telling them that they deliver here EVERY week the story changes. Last week when I ordered my usual BACON egg and cheese bagel, the leave the bacon off. When I call to complain, they do nothing. Rude staff, and the bagels arent too good either. I just order because theyre close. I would not suggest ANY New Yorker going anywhere near this so called "Bagel" establishment. Worst customer service in 45 years of dining out or delivering in. STAY AWAY -4☆

The blonde behind the counter who made my bagel and everybody elses bagel before me wearing dirty plastic gloves handling the money and making each bagel and handling more dirty money going back and forth. Money is probably dirtier than a toilet bowl. Management please let me know when you correct your workers on handling money and food and pushing hair hair back behind her ear with the gloves while handling food,Then maybe I will eat at your stablishment again.

I started dining at Strathmore on Lakeland Ave because the one on Portion Road is just awful.. But lately the customer service at this location is not doing so well either.. The food is generally ok but I feel ignored when I walk in there.. And this morning I got skipped in line, after I made eye contact with the girl behind the counter twice. I think the owner should have more hands on training with the young and impressionable employees..

Ive got 4-5 bagel stores much closer to where I live and this is hands down the best around. Ive brought several people from all over that claim THEY know the best bagel place to try Strathmore, and all of them have admitted these are much better than the places they know. The bagels are often huge and their lunch sandwiches are great too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Good coffee, great bagels, and the breakfast sandwiches are the best anywhere. Two fresh fried eggs, melted cheese, and lots of thick cut fresh cooked bacon on an everything bagel so good. Only drawback is no eggs after 12pm, but try lunch options then they are also great. Pictured is a wonderful cracked pepper turkey bacon on an everything bagel with Dijon mustard.

Horrible. Horrible lay out, horrible service, not the greatest of food for the price. Just got a BLT and had only two strips of bacon on it and paid $9.44 with a soda. For about a dollar less you go to the deli on the road behind strathmore and get a real sandwich. Plus they just left the belly rewards program. Very disappointing

The food here is great. Really nice but quaint sitting area with a fish tank. One bathroom for guest. And customer service is okay. They all dont know what breakfast deals they have besides the bagels. And some of them can be rude. But it is still a nice place and there are still some really nice staff that work there.

Decent food, egg sandwiches were a bit expensive. Workers are unorganized, slow and unknowledgeable. Ive had my order misplaced/forgotten/incorrect multiple times. Workers dont seem to care when they make you wait longer than necessary. :/ will not visit again.

Food is excellent and fresh and I love to stop here whenever I visit LI. I dropped to a 4 rating because the ceilings are all heavily water damaged and have black colored mold on them which is gross in a food establishment . Fix that and this would be a 5.

Good place, clean, fast grill. Enjoyed the folk singer on Sunday AM. Can figure out why they hide the condiments in the dining area? Salt, pepper, ketchup etc. You have to go being the cashier counter ( " help yourself") Strange. Home fries are awesome.

Coffe is horrible. Taste burnt and old such a horrible taste. The line takes forever even when you order ahead. And over priced food that is not worth the quality. Why would anyone pay for bad coffee at almost 3 dollars when dd is down the block.

How about 10.00 dollars for a egg sandwich and coffee. The women are nasty and are rude make sure you count your change...dishonest and the food sucks dont believe the 5 star reviews the people are the owner of something overpriced

I come here almost every weekend & the food is amazing. Very clean place and love the seating. The workers are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area!

Expensive! Figured I try this place since I pass it all the time. $3.37 for a plain bagel with cream cheese? Bagel wasnt even at least a bit warm. For this price I can get a better bagel plus coffee not too far away.
