For many years Id drive an hour for mole mole on main St in poughkeepsie best Mexican restaurant in the Hudson valley sorry to say that experience is gone everyone of their new locations is worst then the last one. This new location on Hooker Ave. From our waitress that didnt seem to care to the food being incorrect instead of making the correct entree just took my plate away offering no apologies. Its sad that once was a great little restaurant that appreciated every customer has become just another half assed wanna be chain. Living the American dream I guess

The service sucks. After waiting 10 minutes, the waitress took our drink order and never came back. We watched as she took phone orders and packed them in plastic bags. The man cooking the food by the bar was sweating and joking with another worker. The place was dirty and the menus were filthy. They were more concerned with the phone orders than with the customers. THAT IS WHY THE PLACE WAS EMPTY ON A SATURDAY NIGHT! Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else if you are hungry because you are going to starve to death waiting for food!

Way over priced for what you get. My daughter got two tacos for $5. The shells were about 5 or 6 inch soft shells (very small). Does not come with anything. Rice and beans are an extra charge. I got 3 enchiladas for $12. Once again very small. I got the mole sauce on mine which I wouldnt recommend. The spiciness of the sauce was perfectly hot for me but the flavor was horrible. Almost bitter like it had gone bad. Im not hungry anymore so I guess I can give it 2 stars for that, but I wont be coming back.

We waited twenty minutes for a server. 45 minutes for our app and an additional half hour after that for our meals which were sub par. A couple of kids who were taking turns drinking in parking lot came back in and in the middle if dinner in presence of elderly and children blasted music on the jukebox at way too loud of a level and a ton of f bombs and other expletives. Other customers and myself complained to manager/cook and he said he liked it. I never went back and never will.

Decent Mexican fare across the street from the Vassar College athletic fields. Vibrant interior, and quiet in the late afternoon and early evening. Prices are fair and the service is ok. Had the tamales with chicken in mole sauce which were wonderful, and my garlic shrimp quesadilla couldnt have been better.

Not good on Cinco de Mayo. Servers seemed overwhelmed. Food was lacking flavor, blaned. I asked them to shut off off their ceiling fans because it was making the food and me cold. They didnt shut them off. Other customers were complaining about it too.
