This place is like a Mexican themed restaurant in Disneyland and the food is about what you might expect from such a restaurant. Not very fresh ingredients. The salsa was horrible; It was like tomato juice with poorly diced onions thrown in. The waitstaff seemed a little embarrassed by the food. I asked our waiter if the tamales were fresh and after stalling and looking around for a second he said, "no theyre not fresh." I agree with another reviewer that the food looks and tastes like it came from a can. Taco Bell is literally better food, but Zapata has booze. Emiliano Zapata is rolling in his grave.

I am sorry but this was the worst, most uncared about "Mexican" Food I have ever eaten. Like it was dumped from a can and microwaved. Taco Bell is 100 times better. Margarita was tasty but I question if there was any tequila in it... Chips and salsa were the best thing on the table. Tacos, burrito--disappointing. Cerviche was too salty.

i have been working in this area for past 3 years whenever we order food for 15 people for my company we always have to go through the hassle. we are like 15 people and they never give us more than 2 small cups of salsa for chips. common man think about 15 ppl how you gonna share salsa and plenty chips.

It is a nice family restaurant (yes, with a bar off in another side if the building too :-)) The food, while not upscale, is certainly tasty and the portions are generous. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The only downside is that it tends to be a bit loud at times. Must be the acoustics.

Looks like a good place to eat but not really. Ordered the chicken burito combo plate. The chickem didnt taste fresh, very stringy. The beans and rice didnt have much flavor either. The good thing was the salsa for the chips. Service was good. For the price not really worth it.

Service was good. Prices are high!! Food is OK. Ordered a Diet Coke came in a small glass with tons of ice. Had 4 glasses because they were small, was charged for four glasses. Not a fair price for a middle income family to dine.
