We went to the Mapleview Cafe last week. Unfortunate was the best rating i can give the experience. First we were told that they ran out of food 2 weeks prior and still had not bought more. So all burgers and such wete out. Then they told us that a freezer broke at the same time and so they only had 1/2 their ice cream available. Kind of made us wonder why theu were open but ok sure we stayed. We ordered the smallest cone they had for our 3 year old. The teen behind the counter promptly picked up a medium-sized cone and pit 2 large scoops on it. I stopped him and said we had asked for the smallest they had. He turned around and again picked up a medium cone. I stopped him again and pointed to the baby sized cones he had on the counter. He loomed at me and said "but thats for babies"... "yes i said and my daughter is 3 and weve been asking g you for this one..." So we did get the baby cone though the ice cream was very soft i think the freezer they do have is on its last legs. Lastly weve had some good experiences here in the past with excellent ice cream, however this time the vanilla they served was very subpar. It tasted cheap and i was glad we only got the baby cone. With a plethora of options nearby if Mapleview doesnt make some changes they wont be around long. We wont be coming back anytime soon.

This is now Mapleview Cafe, it is owned by a different family... their ice cream is homemade and the food is EXCELLENT! Much better than Debra Ts, back in the day that old grumpy witch would charge obscene prices for food that was low quality and not good at all.... with a nasty attitude complete with a dirty look. It is a MUCH different experience now, aside from the kind staff and service being excellent the fries are real, lettuce is crisp and tomatoes are fresh and tasty. Burgers are made with quality beef and even the bread they use for sandwiches/gyros/burgers/etc is delicious and fresh. Yes, they did keep the train set playground that we all grew up with. Bring your kids here

Wow!!!! In a very good way. My husband and I just stopped here for the first time. We each had a burger and fries, very fresh. Not greasy cooked perfect. Also the bun was soft which was very refreshing proving that they care about the quality of the food. We both were stuffed but couldnt resist the homemade ice cream. We decided to get shakes to go and again WOW ....... I highly recommend the banana ice cream. Apparently we were not to stuffed because we made it to the car and both of us were half way done. Very nice people we will be back again. Also I have never written a review before now and this place was so good I had to take the time to share with other!!!! Check it out!!

This is my second time here and cant wait to come back. The food is yum and the owner, Christina, is friendly and welcoming! I had Peanut Butter Cup ice cream. It was so delicious....creamy beyond words! She makes everything from scratch....including the French Fries! Chili just like my own. Everything we have had is off the charts...delish! Highly recommend you give this place a try and make sure to introduce yourself to the owners! The staff are awesome as well.

I love this place. The best ice cream in town and I have tried everywhere, including farm to serve in three days. They also now have food (soups, sandwiches, and more) and its delicious. The owners are also a delight to talk to. I hope to be a regular here for years to come!

I highly recommend the chocolate and the cookies and cream together! The chocolate is what every woman needs! Finding this cute little café made my day on a Saturday afternoon! I hope it is a community staple for a long time coming.

Ive tried this place on several occasions and every time Ive gone it has been closed. The sign on the door says they should be open but never seem to be. I like to shop local and try new things but Im done trying.

Ice cream is made from scratch and is super good! Great place to bring the kids and let them play on the wooden train playground. The food is excellent also.
