Nowadays, the consumer has so many choices. I live in Peekskill and if I want a burger I can go to four or five places a mile away. I went to this place for the first time a few months ago and whenever Im in the mood for a juicy burger cooked to the exact temperature I order, Id rather hop on the highway or go down 9A to Croton. First couple times, I ate indoors. Last time I went, last week, I ate outdoors. Fact is, the service and food are great each and every time. The chef (possibly owner?) comes out and talks to customers and thats something Ive noticed no other place Ive been to does. P.S. This is my first and only review Ive ever written about a restaurant and I kept telling my girlfriend Id write one, so here it is. Every couple has their go-to spot and this is definitely ours. Keep up the good work!

I have been going here since it was Elmer Suds. The place has gone way down hill: 1) The food is way over priced and of low quality: I had a tough over cooked steak sandwich at $15.95. You know the type of steak sandwich Im talking about, you bite into it and you get three pieces of steak out that you cant chew through. They go allover the place and your whole mouth is full of a massive steak mess. You cant eat the whole thing without a steak knife. The Tai salad with grilled salmon over Argula was $17.95 with a small overcooked piece of salmon and a bottled dressing on the side. 2) The happytizer was Shrimp Shumai, it was right out of box.Trader Joes does better. Overall - I wont go back, and by the size of the crowd (very sparse) this place may not be there very much longer.

This used to be a favorite of mine and now I cant really remember why. Its unfortunate that the place is so small, because the tables are cramped together and I can never seem to have a normal conversation. It always feels like the people behind us, next to us, and in front of us are part of our dining party. I find myself hearing more from their conversations than the person Im actually eating with. The food has always been really good, Ive never been let down in that department. But the atmosphere is just too uncomfortable and isnt relaxing. For a while I endured the atmosphere because the food was so great but they recently increased their prices (most of the salads are $14+ which I find ridiculous) so that just pushed me over the edge.

We have eaten here many times but with about 6 week to 2 month intervals. Long enough to forget the average food. Staff are always nice and has a nice bar but the restaurant food is average at best. The "chef" seems to be content with it that way as Ive seen no improvement over the past several years and occasionally a decline that in a good restaurant would make it average but an average one becomes intolerable. The place is overpriced even with a coupon. Buffalo wings and most of the appetizers are okay but many of the meals are recycled using the same ingredients and putting a little sauce on it and calling it something else. Wouldnt recommend. Too many decent restaurants to waste your time here.

Just ok. Disappointed. Menu changed and not for the better. They took the brie potato skins off and the mozzarella with prosciutto. Use to have more salad choices with steak or salmon now just ordered with chicken or shrimp. Prices are high for mediocre food. Waitresses are usually really nice although last night she must have been having a bad day and never checked on us during our meal and looked miserable . Margarita was super sweet - yuk. Cheap pour in the wines too. I feel bad writing a bad review but left there after spending 100 dollars for 2 people feeling like what a rip off for food that wasnt all tbat exciting and prices that are on the high side. Wont rush back anytime soon

Way too expensive for a mediocre meal. Perhaps the problem is the lack of competition, but I find it hard to believe people are willing to spend $18 for a basic salad or $16 for a wrap! The food is always just ok, I never been blown away by any meal here. The service is the same, just ok. I used to go here only because it was convenient, but the prices were raised and I figured Id rather stay home.

Being in the restaurant business pretty much my whole life I have never had a better meal then at Justin Thymes. I had the steak and the size was unbelievable. The vegetables tasted like vegetables not watered down or frozen. The service was great and the atmosphere was welcoming. I would recommend this restaurant anyone who is looking for a good meal and a relaxing environment.

In this day and time it is such a pleasure to find a locally owned and operated food and beverage establishment that truly shows their passion for the culinary arts along with an impressive and enjoyable "pub" experience. With an extensive dining menu, great beer selection and experienced bartenders you cant go wrong. Bravo!

Horrible food. Dont get the nachos. Soggy and grossly covered in chopped meat. My Sprite was flat. My kids burger was burnt and dry. Very disappointing and overpriced especially the marshmallow fries. Who thought of such an appetizer at $8. Waitress was very nice and beer was great. Still $90 later wish we kept driving.

Stopped here for lunch while cycling our 35 mile route. Nice place, great food and a decent set of beers on tap. The crab cake appetizers were quite good, complimented by the spicy sauce on the side, and the Reuben burger, though not quite what I expected, was quite good. We ate outside; nice, but beware of the bees.

So many creative options- I had a hard time choosing because everything sounded so fresh, well put together, and overall delicious! The meal I got was exactly that and had great portions in accordance to the price. Would definitely reccomend!
