For starters most of the workers speak only spanish or limited english. I have nothing against Latinos, but I do not speak spanish. This is America.. I shouldnt need a Spanish-English dictionary to order a burger. That alone is just a pain.. Even if I do find someone who speaks fluent english, my order is always wrong. Im not sure why I still go there in all honesty because it is over priced and faulty, but my friends always insist we go. The only nice thing about the place is that they have a party room, good beverages/deserts and the place is clean. Other than upkeep expectations, this place needs a lot of work. I would give it 1 star if it werent for the fact that its a beautiful environment and they have a lot of menue choices and a bar and pretty much everything you could possibly expect from a diner. Where they fail is that their food is aweful quality. The chicken cutlet literally breaks apart in layers.... its gross. All supper related meals that require a cook arent available after 10, and a lof of the food just doesnt cut it to be competitively priced next to other diners. They clearly use foods that people try to avoid (such as canned items and frozen, overprocessed or fake foods). Overall this place is perfect, except the food... which defeats the entire purpose of a diner. Side note: theres always a different issue when Im there. EX: Last time I was there they wouldnt take my 10 dollar bill because a tiny 1/4 inch of the corner was ripped (which is an acceptable quality for vending machines). All in all, avoid this place unless youre a really patient and non-caring person with enough money to spend $15+ per person for average quality food and limited service.

This place was absolutely awful. The person who seated us was totally disinterested and basically grunted at us. The menu has probably over 100 choices, and none of them are particularly distinctive. We had an okay salad to start, followed by some stale bread and a bin of random vegetables. The main course involved some soggy gross beef brisket, along with some sugared corn that was nearly all white, and instant mashed potatoes. My girlfriend ordered tea, and after she was finished the waiter came up and poured coffee into her cup without even waiting for her response. We didnt even eat 3/4 of our meal because the food was so terrible. We felt this experience was bad enough to complain about. So we approached the man at the front desk and told him that we were unhappy and unsatisfied with our meal, and that we didnt feel it was worth the $32 we were charged. He was instantly defensive about this. He dismissed any concerns we had and quickly became rude and dismissive to us, even suggesting that maybe our palette just wasnt quite good enough to appreciate his food. So we paid and left, totally outraged at this sham of a restaurant. We could have gotten better service and food at McDonalds.

12/23/2016.A hole in the Ground, i ordered eggs with ham and home fries, ...when the landscaping waiter brought my order to the table, I started eating, had a few bites of my eggs, and ham when I smelled something awful coming from the home fries, it smelled like when one pulls the garbage bags out of the trash Bin...that smell of rotten food that makes one want to throw out, yeah you are right the smell was just like that, anyway, i brought that problem to waiters attention, he took the rotten coach diner home fries to the kitchen and never saw him again. He never came back to my table to apologize or at least to say that the manager was sorry for serving me stenchful Food. By the way, service was Horrible, it felt like there was no waiter to assist his guests with anything...The bussgirl gives better service than those clad hoppers...the manager( he was a man) has no idea what the restaurant business is about, he is a snobbish, rude, despicable man..i just had an awful experience in this restaurant...so if you dine here be careful!!!!!cause they might give You rotten Food...never

I went there last weekend and I ordered a breakfast wrap. My bf ordered a chicken BLT wrap. It wasnt so much that it tasted bad, but quite honestly we took 2 bites and left b/c the food just tasted old. One thing is to hand me yucky food and another thing is to hand me old food that can seriously get me sick. Even if your food sucks, please be clean. Im sure they wouldnt serve this stuff to their dog. Everything tasted so old. Even the home fries looked old. The creme spinach soup was cold, the wrap itself was crusty and old, the sausages were old, the eggs were brown, the fries were overcooked, the bacon was hard as rock and the cheese looked like it had been cooked and reheated several times The place looks nice from outside, but dont be fooled. It is bad even for a diner. The city needs to investigate this restaurant.

Breakfasts you cant go wrong with except the eggs benedict hollandaise sauce is disappointing...more lemon and butter please! Lunch: burgers are too dense for my liking and dont have much going for them unless you like dense and chewy; seafood used to be excellent here, but took a dive years ago when the allegedly lost a reliable supplier. Great for most breakfast items, fries, Matzo Ball Soup, chicken francaise, hot platters like roast beef with mash and veg...they just need to up it a notch...everyones tired and somewhat bored...

This place used to be good, years ago.....I went there last Saturday and ordered a chicken quesadilla... The chicken pieces in the quesadilla were FROZEN! I also ordered french onion soup and it was cold, with the onion skin! I asked the guy 3 times to bring me the Tabasco sauce and he kept ignoring me. Also, they impose a 20% service fee for groups over 8 people. Outrageous! Trust me, drive to Greenwich or White Plains for a MUCH better experience.

The service was the worst that I have ever experienced. On valentines day 2/14/16 I came here to have dinner with my family. The waiter yelled at me because I gave him my beverage order with my entree order and he couldnt keep track of both. I felt like I wasnt a paying customer. This is the first time I have ever experienced such unprofessional rude service. Shame on you!!

I saw and large amount of gum under the table. It tells me rhat if they cannot clean under the table, the rest of the diner has poor sanitary conditions. I left in a hurry, and I suggest not to go there. .You will not know how they handle your food with care or not. You could tell the gum was there for a while, because the smount of gum

Thanks to Coach Diner Co. I spent my Christmas Day in bed crawled up in the fetal position writhing in pain, puking ever hr or so until a doctor came to my house. Fortunately I have lived to tell the tale, others may not have been so lucky.
