Id like to start off by saying Ive been dining on the public side for over 15 years and never had a bad experience. Wait staff has always been courteous and food hot. Recently me and the 50 people in my party recently had a very bad experience in the private function room that gives us reason to never go back there again. The management does not coordinate with one another as to what the agreement is with the client and causes arguments. First of all Id like to say the recipient of the surprise party had a great time and luckily did not know of the problems with the management. My mother had spoken with Jimmy, 1 of 3 managers at the restaurant 6 months prior to date of party and received a printout of price and confirmed 50 definites with maybe an additional1 to 10 by the actual party date. The time alotted us would be between 10 am - 12 noon. On the day of party Vinny, a different manager from the original, said the price was not good. Showed him the printout and when he called the other manager Jimmy, whose name was on the printout, Jimmy initially denied the estimate ..... until we showed him the printout. Now, Vinny said he has to charge us for 10 people even though we had brought only 1 additional person over the 50 definites agreed upon. My mother was complaining about having to pay for the additional 9 people. The Wait staff hears this and is a little reluctant to bring the cake out thinking my mother doesnt want to pay the bill. Then he goes ahead a states he is giving us the birthday cake for $45 instead of $100 which I feel is no big deal because they bake their own cakes on the premises. Throughout all this my 80 year old mothers blood pressure is rising. She was the organizer of the party and I didnt know all this was going on until after the party. The topper to charging us for 9 additional people even though there was only 1 additional was the manager, Vinny, charged a 25% gratuity. We were alotted a time slot of 10am - 12 noon but at 11:40am they started cleaning up and made it very obvious they wanted us to leave. The leftover Birthday cake that was on the table they placed on the floor. Obviously they never heard of the customer is always right." In their greed to charge for 9 additional people they definitely lost 51 customers that day and of course we would tell our bad experience to others. If on a normal day those 51 people bring 1 to 2 people with them to dine. They potentially lost 102 - 153 customers. Hope the owner sees this review and is educated on how his management teams customer service is.

Flagship to me is a staple of living in Briarwood. Ive eaten at this place my entire life growing up in Queens. Whether it is dinning in, taking out or even getting delivery, their food is decent. Dont get me wrong, I dont go to Flagship expecting amazing food, I go there because its a local place that has good customer service and average diner food. Sometimes, however it can be a hit or miss. They have made mistakes and might mess up your food but they quickly fix the issue. Ive never had bad customer service when I dined in and their take out and/or delivery service is pretty good. When my food is delivered, it always arrives hot. All in all, Flagship is a local diner in Briarwood that has decent diner food and good customer service and I will continue to visit when I am in my old neighborhood.

I just moved to the neighborhood and was so excited to see a diner in walking distance. I go and its nothing special the waitress was nice and all but the food was not all that great. I had the gyro platter and the salad dressing was disgusting! I give them the benefit of the doubt, gyro platters are hard to come across. I order a bacon cheese burger medium well and the burger is dry and clearly over cooked. The onion rings were gross and squishy. The lettuce and tomato I got looked a bit old and didnt taste fresh at all! The coleslaw was kinda dry. The pickle was great though, and the French fries were good. I love diners, but this place sucks! The people are friendly but they need a better cooking staff. I do not recommend

Horrible experience...Horrible service...Horribly over priced!!! Used to go there and stopped due to the service and quality of food. Recently decided to try them again at my office...still the same!!! An order of french fries cost more than eggs with home fries and toast...really?!!! The food is not worth the price or the quality and when you try to make a complaint, are very rude about it. WILL NO BE ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN!!! Also if you order out and ask for delivery, they dont let you keep the receipt...why? Maybe because they are jacking up there prices!!! My be staple in Briarwood for the past 30 or more years but there are way better diners close by. They will be getting our service.

We read the good ratings for this place and went there for dinner, as we had our hotel nearby. Caution, this report is not exaggerated! Everything from A to Z was horrible. - The location: old, dirty, broken furnishing. Loudspeakers with only loud noise, no music, as the speakers where damaged. - Service/waiter: very dirty shirt and rude as hell. Verrrry unmotivated. - "Food": ordered Steak, Wraps, Spaghetti with meatballs. Everything looked and smelled terrible and after one nibble we called the waiter. Rude as always he refused to bring us something else! Price: we payed over $ 80.- for this "food" we didnt eated. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!

Fantastic diner with equally fantastic staff. Great food, including breakfast. This is the diner you come to after closing down the drinking establishment you just patronized. Waiters will take great care of you during your meal. Say "thanks" to them in the best way you know how. They will remember you the next time you come in - and the meal you had during your last visit! The staff is that good! On-site parking is next to a gas station. After you fill up your belly, maybe you can do the same for your cars.

Horrible experience.went with the family to eat breakfast, and seeing the reviews I thought it would be enjoyable.wow, I cant think about anything nice about this place.its way too small.the home fries were plain and flavorless the eggs were way below average, the coffee was horrible.and they wanted to charge 4 bucks for a side of bacon! the Phillipino waitress had an attitude.paid 50 dollars on the most plain breakfast I ever had.u can try it for yourself but I strongly recommend u skip this place.

This is one of my favorite local dinners so I always enjoy been here and the food is great, Belgian Waffle and the Crabmeat Omelette are my favorites...with family, friends or alone is always a great experience. The staff are very friendly and corteous. One of the most grateful things about this diner is that so far I havent had to wait to be seated on a Sunday morning, theres always a table waiting for us.
