The whole meal was amazing CurrentWe came in when it was buzy and we were forth so the host said it would be ten minutes till we would be seated. There were four groups ahead of me and i thought it would be longer after eight minutes the host said we have a booth so we sat. so far so good because the host was very polite and friendly and not rude. Our waiter Richardo came right over and said how are you today and then asked what drinks we would like and we asked for a decaf coffee and a pepsi. A few minutes pass and then the drinks came. Then he asked if we were ready to take our order and we said we need a few minutes and he said okay I will come back then a few minutes later he came back and we ordered and i had the beef stew and my friend ordered the tilapia greek stlye and we both had greek salads and chicken noodle soups which came with the meal. Then he asked what vegetables we would like to have and we said a baked potatoe. Then he walked a away then he came with a bread basket and then coldslaw and pickles. He also brought our salads. A few minutes later he brought our soups. Five minutes later we got our food and it smelled delicious. We ate half of it because they give you so much food but what we ate was so delicios and i had the rest of it the next day and it still tasted just as good. By far this diner has the best food I am definetly going back and my friend agrees. Then the waiter came over and asked what kind of dessert would you like and he explained the desserts they have and i had some rice pudding and my friend had a piece of cheesecake and it was delicious. We finally finished and we were stuffed so we asked for the check and for all the food we ate it was only about thirty eight dollars total. then we payed and asked what the waiters name was because we would like to be served by him when we go back and the host said it was richardo then we payed and he said have a good night. Overall the expirience was amazing. I dont know what happened with that other review but it was nothing like what she said cause we had the same waiter.

If you want an alternative to the hustle of the Plainview Diner youve found it. Much more of a city style diner (not a free standing building), the Blue Angel Diner serves up familiar diner fare at fair prices.

This is a good diner. The food has actually improved in the last 3 months. It wasnt bad before but its even better now. The waitstaff is great and food comes fast.
