Now usually I hate giving bad reviews, especially to a restaurant I loved (notice the past tense) to patronize. I know youre probably saying to yourself "Why would you ever give this place such a bad review?" Well hang tight cause here it is: 1) They dont properly clean their shrimp. A few of my shrimp had residue left in them. After cleaning three of them myself I just gave up (after all its not my job). The manager was nonexistent so bringing it to his attention was like mission impossible. 2) Sloppy Chef. A good portion of my food ended up on the table instead of on my plate. Then the chef went to scrape the grill and just my luck the black stuff landed in my sauce. The chef acted like he didnt notice until I brought it to his attention. Then he reluctantly replaced it. 3)Rude service. The menu clearly stated parties of 6 or more charged gratuity, however, my party of 5 was charged. When I questioned this the waitress she said "it depends. Sometimes we charge for 2 or 3 people." I shrugged it off cause we were soooo ready to get out of there. As we were walking out curiosity got the best of me, so I stopped and asked the Asst Manager. She co-signed with the waitress even after I pointed it out on the menu. She then proceeded to tell me "Every restaurant charges 15% so whats the problem?" The problem is you decided for me (after having dirty shrimp and half my food on the table I should have a right to decide how much I feel like tipping). She then said "we usually charge 18% but if you wouldve said something about the gratuity I wouldve taken it off." Wtf I mentioned it to the waitress! Overall: Save yourself the headache and go to Edo. Its literally up the block.

Yesterday was me and my boyfriends third year anniversary and for a change we went to this hibachi restaurant. Weve been to another hibachi restaurant but that experience in its self was less great then my experience here. The place is amazing the decor is very lovely and very outstanding I automatically loved it immediately. What I found different with Yumi as far as a hibachi restaurant goes is that Yumis wasnt crowded like most hibachi restaurant are, it had space, I didnt feel like I was shoulder to shoulder back to back with other paying customers I had space and that made me breath and enjoy my meal. The food was awesome I loved the show the chef gave us and I love how polite and very talkative the staff and chef were which is something you dont see in restaurant much, it didnt feel force which was nice I know how hard it is for workers in any business retail or restaurant to make themselves seem friendly. So I enjoyed that. The drinks that they have were awesome no problems and the prices werent bad for hibachi probably closes to almost the cheapest compare to other hibachi restaurants Ive been to. All in all I would definitely come back to this hibachi restaurant. Its located in a nice shopping area in my opinion and I feel like Im welcome there when I come back. I loved everything about it it made my date very wonderful. I give Yumis five out of five.

I remember when this place first opened. I loved it and have been a regular since. 1 miscommunication with them has me a little on edge now. I placed a take out order and was in an accident on my way. I called and talked to someone to cancel. I was penalized for it months later. Saying only walk in orders. I have even ordered after that incident. Not a way to treat your loyal customers. Food is great but you also have messed up on my orders several times and forgotten things and was never noted to fix next time. Get a better system. Learn to communicate better. So I had to walk in and straighten it out even though I had my kids in the car having to wait. Pathetic management.

Been here already two times and I just love the food especially their salad dressing!! The dinning experience is a calm and relax feeling or so thats what I feel when Im here dinning. I feel at peace of mind. And the smell of all the kinds of foods here just makes you even more hungry lol. The food quality is great and their eating areas add a nice touch to the restaurant not to mention the lighting in here. I would recommend anyone to come here. Its nice for family, friends and couples.

There was nothing I had here that was not exceptional. From the drinks, to dinner, to dessert, everything was handled with a smile and was truly delicious. I had the young ginger duck, and it was some of the best duck I have ever had. Their hibachi is also quite good, and a single order of hibachi comes with soup, salad, and an appetizer. Seriously good food, and very polite and attentive wait staff. Excellent experience, and I certainly will be back.

I just got delivery and they were much faster than they said (on Christmas no less!), the deliver guy was super sweet and polite, and the food is absolutely wonderful! I didnt even say no MSG and theres none, so they obviously dont use it. Its fresh, delicious, and healthy! I cant wait to try out the restaurant now! And of course, Ill save their menu for many more deliveries in the future.

Im the Hibachi Queen , and this one was not my favorite . Ive been here about 2-3 times , and its medicocre service , never a lot of patrons , which should have been a sign. The food is just ok, service is ehh, bartenders dont understand what drinks you order, you can literally see them confused behind the bar. Last time I went , she chased me outside to ask why didnt I leave a tip

A hidden treat, I highly recommend this place. Great atmosphere, great food, great service, and etc. I never had a better experience at an Asian restaurant than at this place. Everyone I have brought their looked forward to going back with or without me. And, their calamari is to die for, to all you calamari lovers! Did I mention it affordable

Wouldnt order delivery. The food is normally amazing. But today I got hair in my food and when I called to complain they didnt want to send me a different plate. I waited over an hr for my replacement plate and the portion was smaller and slightly undercooked. I had a better experience dining in.

I love it. Yumi is my spot. Large portions they have great lunch and dinner prices. Plus unlke Edos you dont have to wait till they open to 4 pm nor do you have to wait for your entire party to arrive before being seated. I highly recommend this restaurant and they have hibatchi take out.

Pretty good yet not worthy of the price. At least they can increase the portions a bit for the price they charge. Im not talking about a lunch special either. Dinner portions should be larger. Better than your average corner spot at a price. Decor is cool. I like it

Absolutely incredible service! The hibachi chef was hilarious and the food was spectacular. This is one of the best restaurants Ive ever been to. I went with a group of 8 for my birthday and plan to go back for my anniversary! Too good not to come back
