FROM THE OWNERS: Please note that the reviews here are associated with Les Enfants Terribles, Stefan Jonots prior restaurant at 37 Canal Street (closed 2012). Google Maps (and Google Business) has somehow linked the old and new businesses and we are trying to detangle them. The old spot was great but the new one is even better! See for yourself... Please post new reviews for Les Enfants de Bohème in the Google map/ business listing that shows photos of the new place (not the old!). Hopefully this will get sorted soon.

Wonderful every time, the ambience and menu is always nice. Portions are appropriate and not overwhelming - you can actually eat an appetizer, entree, and dessert without feeling sick! Great and varied meat & cheese plate, with very good cocktail bar as well. CASH ONLY (they have an ATM on premise). This place will heat up soon, get there while its still reasonable for seating on a weekend!

Very cute place at the corner of Henry and Jefferson. Sat at the bar and chatted with my wonderful dancing server Megan and a friendly fellow customer. The steak tartare was exactly what I was looking for. Got tipsy from a couple cocktails (two bridges and quite strong) and the addictive bread and butter that came with the table. Will definitely be back and would recommend.

Drinks review only. Nice place to grab a drink during the day with some outdoor seating or at open air bar without the craziness of a Los Feliz. Their cocktails were great esp the caparinha. Bartender was great, really nice and friendly. Theres some decent people watching but not overly so (if that makes any sense).

Parece un bar cualquiera, pero está dentro de mis top 5 de NY en comida francesa, realmente espectacular

Sitio genial, lo único que los ventiladores en el techo son un poco pesados. Pero la comida es cojonuda

Go in and Just ask for Artur. Then ask Artur for a drink. Tell him you want "the Saadya". He makes the best Saadya in town. Its strong and 2 of em with knock you off your feet. Also the tartare is great.

If you want bottles be thrown at you by the bartenders friends, go there.... The food is great and the crowd can be fun, but the service and management is the worst in New York City

Guys said happy hour : 2 drinks for one, but when the bill come, it is not. Even the barmaid refuse to apply the happy hour even if we were at the right time. Very unpleasant.

Very pleasant place for breakfast / lunch. Annoyingly sceney at other times. Could be a good place to take adventurous visitors, as it feels like something of a discovery.

Went as a group of 6. Delicious food, perfect portion size, great service. Very good feel to this place. Its size (small) definitely adds to its charm.
