This is now one of my favorite restaurants in the city. I knew I had to come when it was mentioned briefly in one of the Netflix series "Mind of a Chef" episodes that featured April Bloomfield. Top notch pasta all made in house? UMM YES PLEASE. I dont even care if Kim K or Kanye dined here. Thankfully its not egregious to score a reservation here! Ive always been curious about this place.. an unassuming brick building on a corner in the quiet and desolate Jackson Square area.. not really a reason to come to this area unless you plan to venture out to North Beach afterwards - at least that means parking isnt horrendous.

You always read about these Chik-Filla places but you never see them. Im not entirely sure they really exist. However, there is a sort of concession for this franchise in NYUs public food court. Its worth a try if like me youre not planning on going out to Pennsatucky or wherever the full-featured franchises live. I had a chicken sandwich that was more than edible and I thought the crispy lattice fries were a good idea. However it all tasted a little stale, as though it had been prepared hours beforehand. The dining area could be cleaner, but thats the problem of NYU, not the chicken people.

Chick-fil-a is a great spot to get a bite to eat. The chicken is awesome.I am telling you with that pickle and provolone cheese,hand-spun shake. But But this place shocked me.Finding this place is no other than a journey much like lord of the rings or Indianan Jones. This place is netsle in the deep tombs of the NYU cafeteria out of plain sight, the food was appalling. The great Kathy Truit would roll over in his grave the sandwiches have no pickle. no cheese is available and the drinks are from the main fountain of the cafeteria. A sure disappointment.

I got words about dis Chick-fil-a. 1. Dan Cathy is my master, mate and mission. So I truly believed in his powers to bring Chick-fil-a to NYU. 2. WHERE IS THE CHICKEN BISCUIT????? Youre telling me I have to go all the way to Times Square for a biscuit??!?!?! Rude. 3. I am getting no "My pleasures" here. Truly disappointed along with Truetts mission. 4. The ice cream, the cookies, the nugget trays. All gone, Gone, and GONE. Where do I meet my chicken party needs??!?!?!? Youre just asking me to go to the Popeyes on 14th that had the fried rat head.

Until recently this was the only Chick-fil-A in the area. Beware the menu is extremely limited becuase it is a university dining hall and the food is very salty. The way they package the burgers traps all of the moisture inside, leaving the buns wet and soggy feeling. I here the waffle fries are pretty tasty but since I do not eat French Fries, I wouldnt know.

This is a hidden spot. The place is in the Weinsten Hall at 5-11 University Pl inside the building. If you know Chick-fil-a, then you know its is best chicken sandwich. Its open for public. Go enjoy your chick fil a sandwich. Note: when i was there they only had 1- chicken sandwich 2- nuggets and 3- potato chips.

I eat here often and honestly its usually a hit or miss. If the food is fresh it tastes great but if you get stale fries and a warm burger then it tastes pretty bad, its even worse when the chicken has patches of whatever nonmeat thing was there. Also avoid the grilled chicken, its not actually grilled.

Great opportunity to get Chick-fil-A food in NY, but its limited to only a few products and inside the Cafeteria of the New York University, pretty hard to find. But if you dont give up you will! Unfortunately it was not as good as in the standard Chick-fil-A Restaurants in for example Atlanta.

Love coming here to get my chicken sandwich and waffle fries fix but i HATE the heavy set cashier. She is a miserable rude woman. She clearly hates her job and the customers. Besides that, love the food amd convenience.

IT EXISTS. If youre a southerner and crave this, its a good fix. It tastes completely different, less of that "home" feel, but Im so happy it just EXISTS. you walk in, go straight back, and its hiding on the right.

I cant really rate it as apparently its closed for the summer recess and will not open until after Labor Day. Ignore any indications that it is open. Im hoping its not JUST for students as another indicates here.

They just closed the last one. A caught the tail end of a very scary news report. And i used to think it was the best chicken sandwich on the planet. I dont think i could eat one now.. I hope they rebound .....

Difficult to find the entrance for those that arent NYU students. This used to be the only Chick-fil-A for many miles around. This food court version provides a limited menu of your favorite items.

I was expecting a full chick-fil-a not a college food court version of chick fil a. This is a chick fil a express. There is a very limited menu and it is inside the NYU college food court.

FOR NYU STUDENTS ONLY. Its supposedly inside the food court. No sign of it outside. Cant believe I wasted my metrocard fare for nothing. Oh well. Chipotle isnt far.

Does not taste good. Too expensive. They also only give you like 8 nuggets, which is clearly not sufficient for feeding my 5 children and 9 on the way.

When it comes to fast food restaurants this is the EPITOME of them all!! I can NOT emphasize how good the food is here for it being fast food!

The one that has been in NYC was only available to nyu students. There is now one available at 6th Ave and 37th St for the general public.

Fantastic food, a true gem to have here in New York and a nice step away from the often poorly-run fast food joints in the area.

I dont know how it tastes in the Newyork Restaurant, but when I use to live in Atlanta Georgia the food was great there☆

This is part of NYU, but insiders have known about it for years. Get the chicken nuggets with the Polynesian sauce.

Best chicken, oh and the Chik-Fil-A sauce is the best honey mustard type sauce I have had. Try a frozen lemonade.

Disgusting. Both sandwiches were soggy and premade. Disgusting. Nothing like the one in West Virginia I went to.

Chick-Fil- A is the best restaurant ever. Its cheap and it has good food. Always works and all the kids love it.

High quality product at a low price. It is in an NYU food hall, but you dont need to be a student to go in.
