Went for dinner with my family and we were happy we made it in time for happy hour.. Ends at 6 we were seated at 5:25... Love a good deal on a margarita... orderd the special Margaritia that should be $6.00 for happy hour husband orders mexican beer special happy hour $4.00. The food was good.. nothing to write home about, but good.. (not to many mexican places near here to compair) Service was okkkk.. the waitress does not understand english very well.. but thats ok.. chips were stale tasting.. check comes it is 6:15 charged full price for drinks.. call out the price and get total attitude from the head waitress.. who speaks english very well..Ok dont shake your head while taking our check back to fix it!!!! Your lucky I did not call you out on that.. did not want to make a fuss in front of other people..Happy hour is Happy hour and we spent over 100.00 at your place and gave a good tip.. Two tables left while we were there because of stale chips and lack of good service... guess what!!! wont be coming back.. heard there is a nice Mexican place on Main street that is nice to their customers.. what a shame so close to my house and we are really very good customers.. if treated right..

This place gets 0 Stars if i could post without checking off one start... the food was absolutely horrible. I ordered the fajitas mixta which include steak chicken and shrimp. The steak was hard the shrimps were dry. One tiny portion of rice a tiny portion of bland tasteless refried beans and Tiny portion of salad with a teaspoon of sour cream and literally a teaspoon of tasteless guacamole was served all together on a saucer. Frozen margarita was bad barely any liquor. I just have nothing good to say about this place I would never go back again.

We ate at La Herradura on North Ave the first week it opened, and we were hooked. Apparently we werent the only ones, since it was packed when we returned two weeks later, and its been packed ever since. They use fresh ingredients and dish up some surprisingly complex recipes, with diligent attention to small details. Its a very small, casual place, and the tables are tightly packed - not the place to take someone you want to impress on a first date. But if youre looking for excellent mexican food, this is the place.

Although the decor was wonderful, the food was not good. overcooked meat, very little flavor. It was way over priced. Not to mention we were vertically ignored by the waiter who was on the phone. Pretty sad since its so well decorated and set up for a good vibe.
