I grew up in mount vernon for 22 yrs and going to the ice cream factory was an every day thing for winter, summer, spring and fall. The ice cream is great, the cakes are fantastic. Moving from mount vernon is hard during the summer bc there is no more ice cream factory. Eating kfc than grabing a cone bback in the day was the sh*#.

The ice cream is good, a little on the creamy side, and they offer multiple flavors like the major chains. They also have cookies and cake by the slice. The store is small but the line is organized and the staff is very friendly and fast.

Best ice cream in South Westchester/The Bronx. Tons of traditional flavors, plus a bunch youll never find in a Baskin Robbins or Carvel. Grapenuts are the best addition to ice cream ever!
