This review is based solely on my 2 experiences at the bar during happy hour. From 4-7pm, beers on tap are $3, wine is $5, and a tasty array of appetizers are half off at the bar. I have had the frito misto di mare, farro salad with beets and feta, crisp farm egg over creamy polenta with bacon jus, and a cauliflower dish that doesnt seem to be on the menu at the time of this review. They were all delicious, its hard to choose a favorite. Orto offers some seriously unique and exceptional dishes and the happy hour specials make it very affordable. On one of these two occasions, two friends met us after the happy hour drink specials were over, and they each ordered a glass of red wine, but they were given a little carafe with another glass or two of wine for the $11 price! It was an unbelievable amount of wine for the price. Bartenders are very friendly, service is great, food is excellent, highly recommend Orto!

We came here last night for the first time. The food was really good. I had the baked clams casino and the short rib, and was more than happy with the food quality. We were a table of 12 and sometimes the staff cant really handle a group like that. The service was top notch and the kitchen put out great food in a timely manner. Great job! We will definitely return.

Hosted a baby shower at Orto yesterday. Sandra of Orto provided continuing support and information. She set up the room beautifully. The food was as usual, innovative and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. I have received many compliments on the "beautiful" party and all my expectations were exceeded. Thank you Sandra and thank you Orto.

Went to Orto for my sons birthday. It was sensational! Loved the price fixed menu. The offerings were imaginative and fresh. The creamy polenta was truly to die for. Finally a restaurant in this neck of the woods worth getting a babysitter for. I have been to Kitchen a Bistro also, very good, but this was my favorite.

The food here is usually great, and when its not its at least solidly good, so theres no going wrong. Staff is attentive. Parking has some challenges, the lot is too small and very narrow. Its BYO, so you can bring some nice local wines. Only thing to remember is its cash only, which can present some challenges.

Absolutely loved everything about Orto! Went there for 2 birthdays (told the person I booked the reservation with it) and there was "Happy Birthday " typed on top of our menus; such a nice touch- The food was absolutely delicious, and was so fresh! From the apps to dessert, everything was great!

The atmosphere is fantastic, the food selection great. I love the bring your own wine. The food was not as good as expected. The duck, eggplant lasagna were super delicious. The short ribs pasta were really overly salty and everyone at my table thought the same.

Ive come here three times, and every time Ive left asking myself when shall I return. Note that this is cash only and reservations are a must. The menu is a price fix deal. Elegant cuisine, somewhat on the more expensive side, but worth it.

Over all very creative and very good in particular the lasagna Bolognese...price point good as well...bring your own...anything is a fantastic plus...dont like the metal bistro tables make sure you request to avoid..very nice venue...
