Got back a little while ago from the Coach Stop in Hartland and had a great time and a wonderful meal. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and Mothers Day with my daughter and her fiancé. We sat next to one of the fireplaces and it was so cozy. We had JUMBO shrimp cocktail (biggest Ive ever seen!), stuffed potatoes skins and fried mozzarella for starters and they were all delicious! The salads were fresh and the white balsamic vinegar dressing was very tasty. My daughter and I loved it! The margarita, and hard cider/sangria drinks were also delicious. Our entrees were unbelievable: I couldnt finish mine nor could my daughter. My husband and I both had the New York strip, done to perfection, while my daughter had a huge plate of pasta Alfredo and her fiancé had 3 good sized pieces of chicken cordon bleu. The owner stopped by to ask how we enjoyed our meal, and needless to say, we left there fully satisfied! Only 2 things: there were so many patrons there, that the parking was a little awkward; make sure you get reservations first like we did. Also, the water the waitress brought us was a little warm and tasted like it went through a softener system. But those are just very minor compared to the rest. We have found a new favorite restaurant! Try it, youll like it!

First the positives - this is a very cozy restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. The food we had was very good and the portions were large. However, do NOT go here with young children (under 6) unless they have the patience of a saint because service was soooooo slow, possibly the slowest service I have ever experienced, I believe we waited at least 30 min for the waitress to come to our table just to order drinks (by that time we ordered everything) and she never checked on our table after. The food took a LONG time the kids were miserable and starving after waiting so long to order so this was anything but relaxing - plus it is very quiet which is also not a positive with young children. All in all I could see this as a nice place with adults or older children/teenagers but not for young children - we will be getting take out from now on. 5 stars for food and atmosphere, 1 star for service.

A combination of fine dining and rustic tavern charm, The Coach Stop Restaurant is a great dining experience. The restaurant offers two separate dining options, bar-side and dining room-side. Both sides offer two completely separate menus perfect for a casual meal or any special occasion. The food is delicious and caters to a wide variety of tastes. The price is moderate and the portions are generous. The Coach Stop Restaurant is a great choice for any dining occasion.

Waitress was very slow. Had barbecue chicken wings with four of us and she only brought us 4 napkins for that messy stuff. Didnt bring my daughter her drink she ordered. And didnt even come ask us how everything was. Think this will be my last time here.

We have been here a few times now and going again tonight. Food is excellent and the atmosphere is great! It can be a bit slow but not usually in a hurry anyway.
