Terrible! Saturday night at 9:40pm I arrive to quickly purchase a cake. Even though the sign says open til 10:00pm and there were two customers in the store, the door was locked. The obnoxious young Indian girl rudely stated they were closed and wouldnt open the door. So I called and she picked up and I asked why does the sign as well as the website state that you are open until 10:00pm yet at 9:40pm the door is locked and you will not open them even though there are customers in the store. Her response was rudely "We are closed". I cannot stand businesses that forget why they are in business. So no longer will I patronize that store. Besides, Marshalls on Merrick Rd is so much better. So is the Carvel on Hicksville Rd.

Id give zero stars if I could. Terrible experience. The workers were not unfriendly, although not particularly friendly either. But my son felt ill after having some of a strawberry milkshake, and one of the other four items I bought looked sketchy. He ultimately threw up, and I returned what was left of everything, asking for a refund, which they initially refused, but eventually agreed to (after I threatened to tell incoming customers about my sons experience). What bothered me most was no apology whatsoever for my son becoming ill. Ive always loved Carvel. Worst store Ive been to.

When the store ownership changed hands, we were hopeful that service would improve; well it hasnt. At least the old owner kept a clean store. This store is dirty; always. The workers are indifferent and not friendly.
