Came here for brunch with a group of 5. They have tables for 4 so if you have a group of 5, the 5th person will have to sit at the end of one of the tables. It does obstruct the pathway of service. The things I tried were escargot, salmon sandwich, french toast, fruit crepe, and strawberry smoothie. They do give quite a bit of pieces of escargot but it felt kind of dry and underseasoned. It might have been overcooked and the garlic did not get into the escargot. The dish just needed more refinement. The salmon sandwich was excellent. Extremely flavorful, moist, bread was not stale, salad that came with it was amazing. Absolutely loved their dressing and the vegetables used were fresh!! The french toast was flavorful. The added almonds really helped the dish. Made it a little more aromatic and even though the almonds werent toasted, the toasted bread helped. The breads werent over soaked with egg and were not burnt at all. I would have preferred if the dish came with 3 slices of bread instead of 2.I was glad that the fruits were in a different dish so that when I added the syrup, it did not mix with the fruits. I had ham with it and that was flavorful. The potatoes were a little overcooked, but seasoned well. The fruit crepe was flavorful. Had lots of fruits and strawberry syrup but not all the fruits matched each other. Some were tart, some were sweet, some were a little sour. The dish was beautiful but the flavors and level of sweetness/tartness/sourness were off balance. The strawberry smoothie was okay. Wasnt sweet at all. Not enough strawberry flavor. Smoothie felt diluted. Not the best smoothie Ive ever had. Needs work. Overall, this place is a solid 3.5 stars but giving it 4 because I felt some dishes were quite excellent and I would come back here again despite some misses. I would recommend this place.

I thought this is THE place to be in Long Island City for brunch. I thought it was just alright although their Eggs Benedict is very very good. We came here on Sunday afternoon around 1pm. We got seated right away so it was great. Then, I walked inside and realized the cafe was very hot. They had ceiling fan going but seriously how much did it really help? I actually asked my waitress to turn on the AC please because I was dying in there and I saw sweat on her forehead too! I dont know what they were thinking not turning on AC when it was over 80 degrees out. Anyway, so I got the 3 eggs omelette with Swiss Cheese, Spinach and Mushroom. The dish was $9 and it is pretty reasonable. My dish came and it was a little smaller than I had expected but it was fine since I probably should not eat too much. The omelette is good but nothing stands out. I could probably make it myself. The home fries are kind of plain and so was the side mesculin salad. It definitely needs more dressing. My husbands Egg Benedict was great. He really enjoyed it. I also got their fruit smoothie and it was very tiny. It was an average one and I dont think I will ever order again given its size. The service is slow because our waitress turns out to be the ONLY waitress. Overall, the experience is alright. I was not wowed.

Avoid this place if you are coming here on weekends with children. Waitresses are over worked and stressed and it reflects in their interaction with clients. We were given a 45 minute wait with two kids in strollers. Numerous people who came after us were seated before us. They were not subtle at all in letting us know we were not wanted! We decided to stick around because we had a good experience here during a weekday. We were eventually seated after an hour in a place with no place to put the strollers. We were told to leave the strollers outside the restaurant (we had specifically asked for outside seating and someone was seated there although they came after us). The waitresses were extremely rude. We had multiple waitresses come to our table within a span of two minutes and tell us to get the strollers out (we told the second waitresses that we were unpacking and will leave the stroller out... they needed to give us some time). This left a bad taste .. we were jumped over in the queue, made to wait a long time, perhaps intentionally given a table in an inconvenient location, and spoken to rudely. We left and went to Bare burger. They people there were so much nicer. Will never go to this place again.

Never been to France, but I love the decor and yellow bricks. For a moment, you forget that you are in long island city until you look out into the window and see traffic. The menu offers crepes, sandwiches and some house specialities. The waitress spoke french I believe. Oui oui? I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich. It comes with a salad. The sandwich was delicious. A nice blend of taste and texture of the smoked salmon and egg. My colleagues had sandwiches as well and remarked that it was very good. Lunch will cost you low teens (under $15). Highly recommend place for brunch and weekend spot. Great location as you are walking distance to the water.

We went for brunch, because friend recommended it, on a busy sunday, but we only wait 15 min for a table for 2. We order the coffee which is good plus the eggs Benedict, I loved the Hollander sauce, the potatoes and the salad, plus $2 you can order the salmon version. But my boyfriend was disappointed with half cooked egg (yeah, even for an eggs benedict uncooked original) and the salad. The service was fast and gentle. Plus, the prices are really good and the ambience-music sound is very relaxing and charming.

The sister restaurant to Cafe Enrique, Cafe Henri is far superior to the expensive but regular food you can get across the street. At Cafe Henri youll find yourself feeling like you are back in France in a cozy chateau. The food here is the real deal - their steaks have never failed to please during my visits and their sandwiches are nothing to scoff at if you are in the mood. Cooked perfectly, your taste buds and stomach will hanker for you to return to Cafe Henry, and soon, after your first taste.

Awesome service and even more awesome food. The fresh orange juice is REALLY freshly squeezed and eggs benedict are beautiful, especially with ham. I absolutely love the home fries made with red potatoes, mushrooms and rosemary. Also, the only place in Long Island City/Astoria where I can get almond croissants actually filled with almond custard. I always come on weekday mornings. Its the best time.

Had lentil soup here which was delicious. Wasnt the most hungry so only got that. Fiancé had the croque madame which he said was very good and bigger than expected. Known. For their brunch food although we went at dinner time. Will need to go back to try more !!! Knocked off a star bc service was a bit slow. Had to try to get waitress attention for about 15 mins to get check.

One of my favorite restaurants in LIC. They have a varied French focused menu where the standouts are their mussels and coq au vin. The crepes are very good as well. Service is fantastic and they never rush you out, so if you want to sit and have a few glasses of wine after your meal and chat they dont mind it. Definitely a great spot for a relaxed dinner.
