Excessively fresh food. Everything tastes homemade. Theres a bit of a wait time for your food to be ready so call in your order ahead of time in order to make it a quick transaction. Its interesting to see how frequently regular customers walk into the kitchen to offer the chef their greetings. Defintely a friendly place. Ive had potato samosas and chicken kathi rolls so far. I have no reference point for samosas being this good, legitimate spice with great accompanied sauce, no samosas Ive tasted compared. Very good deal at (4) for $3.50. The Kathi roll is a hefty amount of food for less than $10, I have a large appetite and it always satisfies. Although Im tempted to eat in, theres really not much space to depend on if you planned to eat in (two tables). Overall I cant wait to try the whole menu, Im excited by a place willing to cook spicy food.

Its the only Indian Restaurant in the area. Being that it is LIC, you would expect the prices to be cheaper but since there is no competition they can charge $10-$17 an entree. The food here is pretty good though, good sized portions that will leave you full. Tons of seating here, as they must get rather crowded full of Citi Tower employees during lunch hour. They play Bollywood movies in the background to keep you entertained. Service here was very good and the server was very attentive...probably because we were the only couple in the restaurant at the time.

This is another LIC restaurant that is near my apt. We came here on a week night and it was pretty empty. Dont be discouraged though. They have a huge lunch crowd nonetheless. We got the lamb vindaloo and chicken tiki malasa and both are delicious and come in decent portion. The naan bread is also chewy and buttery. They also play very interesting Indian music video/TV show in the background to keep you rather entertained. We will be back for some Indian food!

Unfortunately you cant give half a star so im giving 1 and ONLY for the service which was fine. This was the WORST food i have ever eaten in my life. Had biryani and the rice was soft and mushy and stale as if it had been reheated. There was absolutely no flavor how biryani should taste. Would rather eat cart food which at least has flavor and unsoggy rice.

Food was excellent. Ordered delivery however and there was a strange miscommunication where they claimed to have made the delivery, when it hadnt been made at all. The food came reordered finally after fifty minutes. Mind you - it was supposed to have come an hour before that. All said, however, very good food. Just be careful with their delivery I guess?

The food here is really awful. Ate at this place twice, chicken in the biryani was stale and perhaps a day old. The NAAN was like rubber. The so called Indian preparations are not even close to what it really ought to be. Not recommended for anyone ever..

The best Indian restaurant I have ever been to in New York. The best thing is it offers the buffet which is just $11.99 and they offer variety of dishes. They have vegetarian section too. One can really feel like eating in home country.

One of the best meal I had. Definitely tastes like homemade. Yellow daal was amazing. I dont eat daal but it was worth it. Next time in the area will stop by for sure.

My go to meal after climbing at the cliffs. Delicious food, great service, friendly people. The dishes are amongst the better Indian food Ive had in NYC.

Good Indian! Best in the neighborhood. Tried the Tika Masala, Palak Paneer, Mango Chicken. All of them tasty. Naan is great too.
