I was excited to try this place as I never had shake shack before. Since this recently opened it was packed when my family arrived, but it only took about 5 minutes to make it to the front of the line. The staff there seemed a combination of friendly and exhausted, greeted us without a semblance of a smile, but did joke around with us. The wait for our food/shakes was about 10 minutes after that, not a bad wait time (especially with all the people). The burgers were good, flat patty to allow quicker cooking, condiments complimented the burger, fries came out nice and crispy on the outside while soft inside. The shakes were also good as we tried a variety among out group, all milk shakes. Though the experience overall was positive, i do think the burgers at five guys are better, and the fries at shake shack lack any distinct flavor that the seasoning at five guys provides. Even though some five guys locations offer milk shakes, shake shack has a better variety (though not on par with most icecream places). This is a good location for burger and shakes, but has close competition from five guys.

Shake Shack...was going to the movies with the wife and had time to grab a bite to eat. Wandering around we came across this place. Figured wed give it a try. Clean place...high end prices for a burger so i figured we would be paying for a great burger or some heck of an experience. Got disappointed on both ends. Wifey ordered a chicken shack...which was soooo salty. My burger had less meat than McDonalds. Fries were...eh...but overall disappointed. Gonna end stopping at another spot after the movie. Wasnt worth it at all.

I really wanted to like this place, but my mudslide shake was gross. Im pretty laid back and I love shakes of all kinds but I ended up just throwing it away. My hotdog was fine but all my friends did not like their burgers at all. I took a bite myself and it tasted like a wendys burger, but at thee times the price. I dont mind paying a high price and getting small portions if the food is high quality, but it wasnt when I went there.

The service was excellent, everyone that helped me was extremely friendly and I got my food relatively quickly. The burgers and hot dogs had a slightly burnt flavor but they were not over cooked dry but juicy. The prices while a little high are on average with most burger shops. I will definitely go back especially with the friendly staff which is something many places lack.

They use soy oil, the worst and cheapest oil to cook with. For a place that has shakes in there name. The milk shakes are over done with syrup. The only selection of cheese for your sandwich is American. They dont even include the kids grilled cheese on their menu. Only good for a quick burger or grilled cheese, no fries or shakes.

No better than Burger King and twice as expensive. How can you justify a small shake costing over $5.00? If I had added bacon to my double cheeseburger I would have had to apply for financial assistance. If you want to waste good money and wait on long lines , than this is the place for you. Have at it!

Whats not to love. Friendly service, great food, immaculately clean. The burgers here are dynamite, and the chicken sandwich is second to none. In the mood for a beer, yeah thats here too. And dont leave without trying the frozen custard. See why they put the "shake" in Shake Shack.

Always heard good things but its more gassed up than anything. If youre into shakes, youll be disappointed in the size, think little bigger than McDonalds small drink. Burgers were good but its a bit pricey. Just a fancier version of Five Guys. Nothing to go out of your way for.

The burger was excellent and the shakes very good as well. The fries, however, appeared to be those frozen Ore Ida fries you buy in the supermarket. Youll get better French fries at White Castle.
